They look fantastic, I love block heels and a round toe! The knee high version looks even better but the ankle ones are very cute.

Very nice shoes, and I agree about jumping in at the deep end! I've never worn any of my shoes or boots for longer than 4/5 hours but they're never uncomfortable despite being a few sizes too small as they're all well lined and fairly grippy. It does help that they have rounder toes though...

My girlfriend hates it and won't even let me mention it. She asked me if it meant I was gay at first and I must admit I seriously reconsidered our relationship for a moment after hearing her say that. She says she's open minded but a comment like that suggests otherwise. She does wear boots for me though, so it's not all bad.

Picked up a pair of boots that should work well under the jeans. Not ready for the boots being outside of skinny jeans in public yet. The SO is scared of the potential 'image' issues even when we are out of town. The brown pair is a bit big in the calf area, and will work best over jeans, so I picked up the black pair hoping they will be a bit less obvious,
I may change out the black laces for something a bit more spicey around the house, like red - - Hmmmmm
Those brown ones are perfect! They remind me of my first ever pair of boots!

My absolute favourite style is brown or black knee high with a rounded toe and a slightly chunky (but not huge) high heel. 10cm or higher at the least! I will wear lower heels though, and I do also like ankle boots as long as they're nice and high. I also have a thing for straps, functional or not, I just love how they look on a good boot. Oh, and a side zip is a must, I love the feeling of doing the zip up!
