  1. This is what I wore today, I had a bunch of running around I needed to do. Im trying to incorporate a little femininity into my daily wardrobe, just a little. I swear those are heels! They are 3 inch mary janes from Target. Super comfy!!!

My first post in a while and of 2011. And I'm glad to see this outfit! It's a smart look, well co-ordinated and looks well......great! I suggest, if you have a flickr account, to share this with some fashion groups on there (Unisex and Wardrobe Remix are good ones).

Keep at it and it will become second nature, I promise! :)

  2. Actually, there is some truth to that statement. Lots of stuff sold in outlet stores are specifically made for outlet stores. Mulberry bags sold are different to their proper lines. Most Clarks shoes sold in their outlets are not seconds but cheaper product lines (not much last season stuff ends up in their outlet stores).

  3. Dude, I have worn them to work, in front of my family, everywhere. Of course I don't wear them everyday (I haven't worn them this year yet because it's not been warm enough), only in the summer.

  4. guess that i am not alone in this case. well, frankly speaking, the female sneaker size do run small, the largest i can get at my place is us 8 uk 5.5. how i wish i could get a bigger size female sneaker such as those shox , air max etc. here is a few pics of my sneaker

I own two pairs of the Nike Mary Janes (the middle ones) - a white pair and a grey pair. Very comfortable.

I have lots of ladies trainers now, most are pretty ambiguous but there are pairs that you can tell are originally ladies (I get away with them though). They fit my narrower feet better and they come in better colours.

Converse, Keds and Vans I think are intended to be unisex even though retailers will market them otherwise (generally by colour). All the pairs of Converse I own have the US Mens and Womens size in the shoe (bar one pair which is strangely only has the womens size in it when it looks unisex).

  5. Just found this video while playing around on Youtube:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtNi8RNelqc

Thomas Gottschalk is a famous German TV presenter. This clip was taken from the long running ZDF show "Wetten dass ..?" ("Wanna bet ..?") which is the German version of "You Bet".

About :30secs into the video, Thomas swaps shoes with a female guest. They aren't very high (about a couple of cms). He seems to wear slacked heel boots regularly anyway.

Thought some of you might be interested.

  6. May have a look tomorrow and see if there's anything good going for cheap. Shame to see it going but they're certainly not the best shoe store. It looks like the traditional shoe chains are being replaced by the more fashionable Schuh and Office which stock a better range. Faith are getting trumped by better shoe retailers.

  7. Those knock-offs Hannah was wearing won't last five minutes in any lying snow and will get soaked very quickly. But you know she wears them just to fit in but her parents aren't willing to fork out £150+ for a proper pair. Girl should be wearing a nice pair of leather boots anyway with a decent sole. It will look better too.

  8. Canterbury would be a good option. I was there last Monday (wearing purple Nikes mind you!) and seems like a safe place to heel. Lots of students and French day trippers (it was mostly French kids when we were there). London is the best bet though as it's such a big place that you won't get noticed. Take your heels in a bag and change on the way or when you get to London.
