I wear high heels all day every day and have done all my adult life. Although I like the way they look and love shoe shopping I don't think about wearing them any more than any other of my clothing other than ensuring they match what I am wearing on any particular day. This is my mind set as a girl as it's completely acceptable for me to wear them so as others have said I don't need to come onto a forum to discuss them as I can discuss my like of high heels openly with women and men. I post on here becuse hubby loves this site and so I joined as a result of him letting me know about it. Most girls would have no reason to access this site so that's why the numbers are low. My hubby uses this site as he can speak to other men with a similar mind set to his and he can't openly discuss his love of wearing heels without some narrow minded people making judgement.

It's the sort of thing girls say to men all the time out of innocence, not really meaning it. As it's your mum I am sure it was just a passing comment to make you realise she was struggling and could do without an negative comments. She is your mum though and generally our children can do nothing wrong in our eyes, if anyone is going to understand it will be mum. Tell her, you will be glad you did I am sure.

Ok so I find a pair of heels in the fridge this morning, I contact hubby and say ''what the hell, have you gone mad'' He told me to log on here and all will be explained. He does have wide feet and some styles can be a problem. We will see if it works later.

Your husband is lucky to have an open minded wife.

It must be very nice for both of you to wear heels together when you go out.

It is unfortunate that my s/o would never allow it ...

Shame your partner will not allow it but nice to know you resppect that. We have only been out once really in heels together but I sure hubby will boost that figure the next chance he gets.

Wonderful re always in heels. Love to hear more about styles you wear and when? Are you on your feet much at work?

I like pointed toe ankle boots the best but have all sorts. They have to be comfortable as I stand at work for 9 hours a day but obviously they have to look good

I don't really run in my heels but if I am in a rush I can move pretty fast in my 5'' boots.

Yes I am stuck as my calfs hurt if I have to wear flat shoes. I much prefer heels anyway as I feel really unattractive if I don't have them on.

I don't have any Oxfords they're not my thing, Foxyheels has a pair I will have to get him to wear his all day and see if his toes stick together. I am sure he won't mind experimenting for me.

I don't have duplicate shoes but hubby has several pairs identical to mine, he often comes home with matching his and hers shoes.

I am straight and happily married to Foxyheels, he does like to dress up as a girl though and often does when we are intimate, so I often go to bed with a'girl' and it's fun. He also likes to buy the same clothes as me but in his size. If we were the same size I am sure he would be borrowing mine all the time.

I have a pair of boots that do a similar thing, I love pointed shoes and always buy them in preference to a rounded toe. Iwear my boots all day sometimes and they ar a 5'' heel, they do tend to squash my toes up butI've not had it last 30 minutes after I took them off. Someone saw them whn we wereon a coach the other day and couldn't understand how I could fit my footinto such a sharp pointed end to my boots.

They make me feel better, I feel frumpy without them on.

Let us know when and maybe we might be able to get a mini-meet going...

A mini-meet, does that mean we have to wear short skirts. I dont think hubby is up to that yet

we will be in London either Thursday or Friday not sure which yet.

Just wondered what style of heels you wear if you on your feet a lot - say at work or when going out?

I wear stilettos all the time whether Im going out or at work, I am known by my friends as the woman who only ever wears heels.

I will be there next week shopping, shopping and shopping.

I much prefer pointed toe, just don't like the look of a round toe shoe.

I am 5'4'' without heels and 5'9 with heels on if my husband has no shoes on I am just slightly taller than him but then he gets his 5'' shoes on and goes up past me again.

I wear 5'' heels all the time, they ar my normal shoes. I do have higher shoes but they are for inside the house with hubby

Hello everybody, I have always wore high heels since my teens and don't like wearing shoes without a heel less than 4''. I am married to Foxyheels as you can guess by my name. I have several pairs of shoes and boots that are 5'' or more and wear them out all the time. A lot of women always say they don't know how I manage to walk in them but I don't notice it. I don't have to ask twice when buying high heels as hubby is always willing to oblige. Hubby is jealous that I just put them on every time I go out and I tell him it's up to him if he wants to wear his. It's will be nice to know about other couples who wear heels and I look forward to talking to the girls.
