Spending a few hours dressed up in public is fun too, especially as I'm quite a shy person. At the party though, we all enjoy each other's outfits and complements were back and forth a plenty. What did I wear above the boots?

Had a great night last night at the Westward Bound fetish party, a nightclub with 300 sexily dressed people and for a high heel lover like me, like being in heaven.

The majority of the attendees wore heels, a good proportion of the men as well as the women. Heels included everything from block heeled boots to six inch pumps, with a good mix of platforms and non-platforms.

As for me? I was wearing these :-)

You may have to convert the file and make it much smaller

There are many guides on converting movies. If you use Windows then Movie Maker or Media encoder may be able to convert it to a smaller WMV.

Nice red boots there Ruud. What brand are they? I'm guessing not Qualifetish or Devious from the style of them. What do you mean by download videos? Nice picture from you too BB, but yes, you could possibly do with a better camera. More light would really help also.

I shave my legs (and various other areas) with a razor. They do feel and look so much better smooth. I've tried nads and oh my word it hurt, so I may not try it again. I had a go recently shaving my pubic hair and Dr Shoe isn't kidding about the itchy problem!

I don't care for the woman wearing them, but those thigh boots sure are nice and my favourite of the set.

It certainly isn't, it's not what you ordered. Did they give you any form of communcation acknowledging the specifics of what you were requesting?

I would suggest giving them a phone call, it's less easy to ignore a customer when they are on the telephone. They might just be busy and taking a while to respond though.

I've bought from them a couple of times. The second time, my credit card was mistakenly charged twice but after an email they quickly performed a charge-back. The first time too, communication with them was no problem.

My two most expensive pairs are my Qualifetish ballets (like JimC) both purchased at the same time during a bout of fiscal profligacy with the credit card (that one took a while to pay off ). Usually I'd say (like others) that $100 would be the upper limit. The Internet helps as it makes it easier to shop around. Even from Internet sellers you have to remember to search out a cheaper dealer, often there can be better deals to be had. eBay is a popular option and one I've used a few times. You just have to decide on your max bid and stick to it. I've done the bidding war thing once but now try to let them go if I get outbid.

Dawn HH, The 6.5" pumps certainly are nice. I need a lot more training of my ankles before I'll be able to walk in them without looking like a monkey (no offense to monkey's intended!)

I remember that scene in Revolutions, best part of the movie. I'll have to try and borrow the DVD from someone and watch it again. Kinky Boots should definately be a good watch. Interesting that they made it at a real factory in Northampton. Also interesting that they've changed the focus of the story to making high heels for drag queens, keeping the mention of fetish out of it.

I've never had the problem when walking but it can be a pain when crossing the legs while seated in patent boots. Are there any scientist type people around who can explain why such a nice smooth and shiny to touch surface has such a huge amount a friction against itself?

When I do buy from Punitive next year I will have to discuss sizing with them. Too expensive to get it wrong!

The extent of my special shoes are the two pairs of Qualifetish ballet boots as you've seen on the ballet thread. I also have two pairs of ballet ankle boots (maker unknown), one is pictured below. Also two pairs of the Devious Femme shoes (one being sold). Apart from more normal shoes of a variety of types and heights and also several pairs of platforms (shoes and boots), I also have a few pairs of 6" or above heels. Not as high as yours but the ones pictured are 6.5" (although sold as a 7").

I know feet are often not the same but it still surprises me that there can be that amount of difference in the ankles or legs. It's one reason I've always prefered lace-up boots over zip-up as I hate having boots that aren't snug to the leg. Zips are nice for speed though, I guess the best would be to have both laces and a zip but for the laces to use eyelets rather than speedhooks. I think when not under the tension of being worn, speedhooked laces could become unhooked requiring re-lacing (which if you had to do that often would obliviate the advantage of the zip!). For well fitting zipped boots the answer is custom made. Expensive unfortunately.

I have the same problem, the shoe being to big or my feet to small for the size. It is sometime the camble on shelling on internet. Sending back is a lot of trouble and get to a shop and try them can be differcult, which shop have them in the naghtberhood.

I had put some silicone-kid in the space to fill up and still being a little flexible. It's nice the ankleband is there to hold the shoe to my feet. a few other pics ot thies shoe are somewhere on display.

Yes, those are the ones. I have a couple of pairs (bought a second smaller pair to see if they were better). I've decided I might as well sell the larger pair. I may try some silicone pads with the others, that's a good idea.

Similar to the Devious shoes are the pony shoes and boots from Punitive Shoes. I'm thinking that next year I may see about buying some from them. Have you or anyone else ever purchased from Punitive? Are they okay to buy from? What is their sizing like?
