Pretty cool project you have going on there Shafted.
Thanks. I've thought of the theme Frankenball because of the fact that the parts are from several different makes of machines.
-
All the IC's are socketed for easy serviceability.
Haven't really come up with a definte theme for the game yet but that's pretty adaptable to the table rules.
I also used machined pin sockets for reliability rather than the formed flat sheet metal types.

Pinball pics as promised. Sorry for the quality.
Main board with scoring system completed.
Standard playfield with Williams flippers and Data East rebounders attached as well as a Bally ball tray.
Gottlieb bumper and parts.
Plunger
Mirror finish 1-1/16" pinballs
Happ pushbuttons for flippers and game start.
PC AT power supply for logic boards and power transformer for electromechanical.
Assorted rubber, standoffs and ball gates.

As I added in the other thread, I haven't lost any friends either.
I do avoid wearing them around family, although I have run into relatives while in heels. Non-events really.
Without knowing what your fashion choices are, it's difficult to place blame. It's easy for many here to go overboard on their fashion choices. It shouldn't matter, but it does.
-
So now comes the feelings of fear, shame, and possible embarrassment should our personal choice to wear heels become part of the fodder in conversations and relationships, especially by those we consider friends, associates, and/or relatives.
For what it's worth, I have never lost a relative or family member for wearing high heels.

Or friends for that matter.

Im not following you there
The sole might be to soft causing it to squash in unpredictable ways.
-
It may have something to do with the compound the soles are made of. (maybe too soft causing instability)

I really like this outfit on you, freestyle75!

Glad to hear you weren't hurt other that your pride (that's bad enough).
The path doesn't appear to be to bad for 5'' spikes, but its always what you don't see that gets you.

None?
There are a few quick shots. at the beginning, about 30 seconds, 1 minute.... etc
I'll have to look again.

Nice! Music was awesome, didn't catch any heels though.
-
Look at it this way.
You can establish yourself in a new area as a heel wearer from the start. At the same time the people around you will be getting an education in regards to guys wearing heels.

A DIY pinball machine.
Still in early whitewood stages. but the following is what's complete.
Digital scorekeeping system with CMOS/TTL logic.
William's flipper assemblies and Data East rebounders mounted to clean standard playfield.
I have the parts to assemble three Gottlleib bumpers. All other playfield devices will be custom.
I suppose I have to take pics.

I'm not a fan of ties, but i like some of your color combinations
Oh yes, ties, the epitome of male bondage, literally.

Looking forward to the recordings TBG. To hear a voice is even better than a pic.

Just seen this thread. I only wish I were this photogenic!

You mean you aren't that good looking? Bummer! (me being witty with a dash of sarcasm.)

One of the most amazing things I have seen in my lifetime was back in the early sixties at an American airforce base in Bedfordshire, I believe it was Chicksands. An English Electric Lighting going faster than the speed of sound upside down what looked like 10 foot of the runway. I remember my little brother about 1 year old pooing himself and leaping out of his carry cot when the sonic boom came, the Lighting was by this time banking away and in a near vertical climb.
The Universe What more can you physically experience in this.....Universe.

I happen to like Julie Strain as she was back then, which is why I am using her picture as an avatar, so no, she is not really me - considering that I am a man of color.
Are you a Keven Eastman fan too?
-
It's only going to start trouble if I say, which I'm not.
-
Sucks to see you go. I'll stay in touch.

I know it'a a piece of classical music, but knowing the name is a different matter.

I'm most impressed with your work freestyle75.

I'm an old school type of guy. I wouldn't have wired an electronic score keeping system if an electromechanical scorer (which is quite rare to begin with) was available at a reasonable price. Besides I wanted it to be as close to the old electromechanical machines a possible. I grew up around pinball machines on a daily basis and was quite familiar with the internal workings even at an early age. I have watched with great interest machines being serviced while growing up. In addition to the parts you have seen I have electromechanical counting relays.
