ryansjake Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Hey Y'all I registered here a bit ago, and finally decided to join in and post.I'm 21, will be 22 here in a few weeks, and work in B.C. as an auto technician apprentice. I've always had a passion for high heeled footwear, due to the fact it overall looks better than the crap that companies are markteting towards men. Unfortunatly I don't own really any pairs of shoes, more so due to my overall size (6'2" size 13 mens feet), and I'm having trouble finding shoes that will actually fit, and are actually good looking. I'm stuck with a crappy old pair of 2" heeled pumps that are all but work out from years of wear and tear from many wearers. (Thrift store special when I was 14:yummy: ) I know that theres are shoes available in those sizes, but most of it is all fetish footwear, and I'd prefer something with a little more casual look. Platform shoes and knee high lace up boots just don't work for me. My favorite shoes, err, boots are pretty much discontinued and probably nowhere near able to fit on my feet, the Timberland Okla/Hijo style that was big a few years ago. http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/9669/dc3kt7.jpg I wish I could find a pair somewhere, if I would be able to fit into a size 11-11.5 US, again, if I could even find a pair. But enough about that, I'm looking forward to being involved in discussions, and hope to find some suitable footwear here soon. Thanks, Ben
Maximilian Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Welcome to the forum bro and greetings from Edmonton.
Maximilian Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Finding a nice, non fetish pair of womens size 15 (us) would be tough, no doubt, but possible. Check these out and the website. It has a few options: http://www.pierresilber.com/realleather.html http://www.silhouette.nl/html/english/shop_index.htm http://www.i18nguy.com/l10n/shoes.html Ebay is a good place to look as well as shoe sites like Zappos and Shoes.com Hope this helps
