since-i-can-rem Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Hello everyone, this evening, I thought, I should try out my Booty outside. So I picked my boots and my bike and rided to a farm track beneath a road. I knew, that there are no people when its dark, So drived along the track to be sure, and turned around and turned on my left boot, my right boot and sh**! My zipper was braking in two pieces. I turned out my left boot and tried to turn out the right. No way. I needed much force to pull down the zipper and get my feet out of the boot. I was very lucky, nobody comes along I needed about ten minutes at home to fix it Next time, I`m sure, I don`t take the boots
wineanddine Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 That'a a good reminder that in spite of preparation things can still go wrong and we've got to be able to adapt. In spite of trying to anticipate anything that could go wrong while heeling in public I still think about what I would have to do if I completely blew out a heel somewhere.
