jessica6
Hello.. I made a post a while ago about wedge heel boots. When I was in San Francisco last year, I found 2 pair at DSW. Always looking for more though! I'm looking for boots with ~4-5" wedge heels, no platform. The ones I found in SF are: 4.5" http://seductra.netfirms.com/jessica6/jheels96.jpg 4" http://seductra.netfirms.com/jessica6/jheels95.jpg If anyone has any leads, I'd love to hear about it! Thanks! Heelfan
Use your search engine to find La Piazza Shoes. Pictures of La Piazza's wedge-heeled boots being worn are on Joak's High Heel Site, worn by Joak himself. Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards! jessica6
Well, I've seen La Piazza. I was hoping for something costing about the square root of what they cost on La Piazza. The ones I got in SF were about $50, but I'd go as high as about $200. I found a place that will custom make for me, for about $400, but it's so hard to know what that final product will look like. If I don't like it, I can't return it.
Joak
Hi Jessica, nice to hear from you again - and sad to hear that you still haven't found your wedge heeled boots! Sorry that it's the same answer like last time - still don't know another source for those heels best wishes Joak
jessica6
Hello Joak! The custom site I mentioned was one you provided me (western something.. I can't remember). I came close to having them made, but wanted a better description/example of how they might look from the maker. The maker was not able to provide me this information, so I continued my search elsewhere. I wonder if a shoe repair shop could convert a pair of stiletto type heels into a wedge... Yamyam
I couldn't see the images, which was a big shame. I have a nice pair of 4" wedge ankle boots, bought from Schuh on the high street. I don't know of any other sources for high wedges, as most of the specialist retailers seem to to stilettos instead. Obsessed is such a strong word. jessica6
I guess my site doesn't like pictures linked. If you get the error, just click your mouse up in the address field of your browser and hit enter; it will load the image. platform. 4.5" http://seductra.netfirms.com/jessica6/jheels96.jpg 4" http://seductra.netfirms.com/jessica6/jheels95.jpg
Yamyam
Oh, I can see the pictures now. Those are nice boots, but then, I'm a big fan of wedge heels, so I'm probably biased. It's nice to see someone else looking good in them! Obsessed is such a strong word.
