I agree that the topcoat should be a High Gloss Finish which should be rather obvious, because what would be the purpose to paint your nails if not to show them off. I also like the Red Nail Polish on my toes and sometimes a really Hot Pink. I tried acrylic Nails on my fingers but they don't really work for me, but I always keep my finger nails cleanly manicured and with a High-Gloss Top coat. (BTW) Priscilla I like your picture of your Boot...very nice. Where did you purchase that style of Boots?

i am trying to go out but i cant find a place that i could be not seen or not grabbing the attention, any ideas,places best times, etc? . I would like t o tale long wlks but there are amny people in the streets, or if in the night may be a little suspicious what do you think, i want to take a walk with my 5inch pumps, or boots but i dont dare to take the risk of being watched.

I agree with kiltsrgr8 about taking small trips out in public to a convienence store or just short walks out on city streets or parks in the early evenings while wearing some long jeans this will help you boost your confidence and get practice in wearing Heels, especially TALL ones which maybe you'll will want to wear in the future and when you do gain your confidence you will be able to go out in public and show your Heels off with Pride and go anywhere and anytime. P.S. Don't worry about people watching you - I felt that way too like kiltsrgr8 and many others, but this feeling will soon pass with each time that you wear your Heels out in public, and besides having people watch you is sometimes the best part of the experience of wearing HH's.

I agree with most of the previous posts, I haven't seen any other men in heels except for one guy wearing a pair of suede boots with 4" heels in a video tape store. He seem to be care free and went about business as normal. This society is so uptight about men wearing womens shoes when there is so many other pressing problems in life, especially where I live in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. where most everybody seems uptight. I say wear what you want to wear and do what you want to do.

I agree with Anita C the feel of womens shoes with out some type of sheer hosiery such as pantyhose or stockings doesn't feel right except for the summer months when it becomes sandal time, then you can go sans hosiery and show off your stappy sandals and pedicure.

Manus I think your Red Boots are very nice and you should wear them in public. I have a similar pair but with a Full 5" Heel and red patent leather and I wear them anywhere I please. Feel free to wear your Heels anytime and anywhere you want to and take the first step out in public in your beautiful boots and you'll be glad you did.

Dear Bubba136 It is also nice to see someone from Virginia too. In response to your question what do I wear for the winter months? ..... I like to wear an assortment of different shoes, mostly pumps in different styles such as open toed slingbacks which show off my painted nails and sometimes my strappy sandals when the weather is mild enough and occassionally when I'm feeling naughty I will break out my 5" Stilletto Black Patent Thigh High Boots. I usually stick with 5" and sometime 5.5" heels because I have trouble walking with shoes over 5.5" and my feet are used to the 5" range because I wear Heels all the time. The newest thing that I'm have gotten into is toe rings which come in a multitude of styles and metals. The Classic gold one with a smooth band really compliments my feet along with my Pedicure. I generally don't wear Pantyhose in the summer with the Sandals because it obsures my polish and jewerly and takes away from the look, but in the winter months I usually wear Pantyhose with my pumps and boots to keep my feet from chaffing and for the warmth it provides. Hello to all: I too love to get my toenails pedicured, I especially like Bright Red or Hot Pink and the classic French Nail look. When I go out in the warmer seasons I usually have my nails done up so when I slip into my 5" strappy High Heeled sandals or Wedges my feet look hot. The combination of the polish and strappy sandals really garner a lot of attention, but mostly from women. Most women will talk to me and compliment me on my shoes and my pedicure. Some times I will wear Pantyhose nude with sheer toe but it dampens the look of the nail polish, but whatever I wear it always looks good and feels good. Feel free to wear what you want...........
