Just got my order from Payless for these Brash brand heels named Komet.

THEY ARE ADVERTISED AS HAVING 5 INCH HEELS, BUT IN MY SIZE 12 THE HEELS MEASURE 6 INCHES. They fit really well and are comfortable to wear.

The quality is very good see the attached picture.

I really don't know, i'm very particular about shoes in general but those i have chosen are a break from fetish/stripper shoes they are most know for. The styles i referenced go along with the suicide chick style i have been seing around i.e. 40's and 50's fashion with that added flare of a platform. It's a great question cuz now i really want to think further about why i like them but i do still like standard heels of course these are just on my radar now.

What can i say we love platforms

Well i have been watching housewives of atlanta and saw two obviously gay men wearing heels. This is not a slight against gay men at all. They did wear very feminine attire like off the shoulder tops and tight leggings. I personally feel it this image gets to more outlets it would be more acceptable. Of course you should wear things that fit you but is this not the ultimate goal to be able to go out in public and wear what we want tastefully? Let's wait and see.

Where do you plan to wear those sandals? And, what will you wear with them?

These are more for around that house, they are in black but i have to get the mrs. confortable first before i try to venture out. If I do go out in them i'd couple them with some wide leg jeans, son't know what kind of shirt.

Exactly, now she has a shopping buddy, the next item will be some 4 inch gladiators from fredericks but i have to buy her a pair too so it may not be until next month when i can buy them. Even though the selection is limited they carry up to 12 so i'll keep you posted.

I emailed my wife and kind of stuttered around abit. Yesterday she tried to coax it out of me and i lied because of my nerves. Today she calls me and tells me she figured it out so i decided to fess up but she thought clothes and i told her no it was shoes. The next statement flipped me out, she said that seems to be common i was watching a documentary and there were a few couples where they shared in heeling. I freaked out, she said they are just shoes. Coincidentaly she is a non conformist and doesnt cowtow to labels. So there you have it, and the weird thing is i'm still kinda wigged out about this but we have all ready looked at several sites but the one rule was mine can't be better than hers.

Please realize that the fact your wife brought this up may indicate that she has fetishes of her own that she'd like to explore, but not necessarily that she's ready to accept your enjoyment of wearing heels (or more, if you're talking role-reversal), particularly if it's ongoing thing rather than an occasional thing.

It's been a while but I have an update. I just got married about 6 months ago and I have had to keep my passion under wraps, but monday night during the game my wife asked me if i had any fetishes and i admitted that i have a shoe fetish but not that i like wearing them. We talked for a while that night and she suggested role play and i let her bring up ideas and the first one was male female swap. In the back of my mind i was screaming for joy but kep a straight face. Now that i have a sort of green light i'm going to start small, and if we try it and she likes it i will build up to the gladiator sandals from fredericks i posted not too long ago. Welcome to the forum, if you are in the us you may want to try payless, some 11s will fit but 12s and 13s will do fine. Check the website for particular styles. try fredericks of hollywood also, thir 12s run big and don't deal with fetish heels but most of the heel heights are 4" and above.
