  1. It is official. My current heel-height is 4/1/4" heels. I wore these to work today. I do too much walking at work though, and it is an exercise. I won't wear heels this high to work, again. Was fun trying, though.

SUBJECT: I have graduated to 4 1/2" heels! Posted Image <br> Bought these at Nine-West store on 5th Ave., NYC. Sales-ladies were nice, civilized. I can manage these easier than the Jessica Simpson, and they are better quality than the Fabco boots I had (3 1/2 heel; I discarded years ago ). I can wear nice jeans or nice trousers over these; yet not wear them to work Monday--Wednesday. Oh well. Whaddaya think?

  3. I would like to be able to wear different shoes, with a max. heel height of 3" at work; and in town. I cannot, for the time being. I was High Heeling today (boots are 2" heels, women's ) . I think if we men can walk safely in our shoes, then we will be <<tolerated>>. If our behaviour is within the "accepted 'Framework of Standards' " where we work, than we can wear our boots OK. I can't wear 3" heels well, until I can demonstrate that I cannot trip and fall (Fall Flat On Your Face == FFOYF ) . Best regards from northern New Jersey U.S.A.

  4. I wore my heels (2" womens boots; St. John's Bay leather boots, ankle high ) to my College job today. The more I walk in them, confidently and comfortably, the more <<tolerated>> about it I am. I think 3" may be the maximum; and I agree, thicker heel (non-stilletto) will go over better. Also, for my own comfort, 2 1/2" ( or less ) is better, if I have to wander from office to office accross the campus ( like I had to do today ) . Take care, Cheers /signed/ Joe in Northern NJ.

  5. Went to Newport Center Mall / Pavonia ( Jersey City ) . today They have an Aldo shoe store there, as well as Bakers (name) Shoe Store ( both had Womens shoes). At Aldo Shoe Store, tried some Women's sz.40(EUrope) boots (pointed toe), with 3" heel. Very nice. Though I don't have the money to buy them ( $149 ) . Sales guy (young guy, 20's) was kind; as was staff. I referred them to this site (the women sales staff). I try to be a good guy. Seasons Greetings! ( I celebrate Christmas). Peace to you all.

I will look for them. Thanks.

I don't know whether this is what you are looking for or not, but here goes. This is the first Winter since I started street-heeling that I thought that I should look for a pair of women's knee boots with a bit of a lower heel to wear out in the cold weather and for shoveling snow, etc. I picked up, from Naturalizer, a pair of knee high leather boots, (the rest is man-made materials, a warm lining and a 2" block heel with no trim on them at all---just plain and a bit masculine looking, with a round toe box. They also have a bit of a design in the tread to make them a non-slippy rubber sole

So far, those boots are working out well. The 2" heel is very easy to walk in and they are quite comfortable in the cold temperatures and also indoors. I have worn them indoors quite a few times all evening and into the wee hours in the morning. My feet stayed comfortable without sweating.

    Cheers---

  7. Hi, JoeNJ here. :D I like my current heel height ( 2&1/2" ) at work, but what good shoes (maybe lined) do you like (leather) for Winter? What shoes have a nice 1/4" or 1/2" inch platform, with a nice block stacked heel (2 1/2" heel) BTW: I've seen many a cute boot at my college in North NJ and News: Pointed Toes are IN!!!! I do like my women's boots that I own. Help!!! </p>

  8. Hi. Here is the report from North-central New Jersey (USA), and Bethlehem, PA. (LOL).. I wore my St. John's Bay women's 2 1/4" (block-stack) heel to my sisters in Bethlehem, PA for Thanksgiving. Before going, my Dad ( now 68 ) noticed my boots. He said they are nice; took a while to figure they are womens. his girlfriend noticed too, said they are nice ( and they wondered aloud how I like them) and I said I like them. My sister wendy said "Check out those heels!" to me, in a quiet voice. I am SURE she noticed they are Womens boots. But I like them, and I feel sexy ( I am Bi, and my life is tough ) in them. ( sigh ). So, there wasnt bad reaction with 2 1/4" heel heigt. At Dunellen NJ Railroad Station, some people noticed ( teenage girl with her family, 14). They didnt' say anything to me. Mostly non-verbal communication "check out that guy; probably Gay; be careful around him" . Oh well. Diverse crowd ( age-wise) on the train.... mostly Looks and Double-Takes. That's the news from north-central NJ. Take care, all..... /regards/ Joe .

  9. Bubba ---

You have forgotten my notes/posts about my wearing 2" <<Luceta>> boots that I bought. These, the Margo ( St. Johns Bay ) boots are

Leather, not Vinyl, and are better quality. I *HAVE* been "in heels'' at work before. You forgot, I have no problems with heels up to

    3 1/2".

Hey, Joe, what have we been trying to tell ya? !!!!! Good going and the more you wear them the greater confidence you'll gain. Keep us posted on your progress.
