  1. Since I remember I was fascinated with the variety of shoes and sandals that girls could use. Since then I bought many shoes form the men's side isn the shop with something different, ususally higher heel than the standard. I use to get some negative comments from other boys, but not from the girls or girlfriends. So I have got different kind of men's clogs, boots, and I always look for the highest hell whatever style I buy. Always thinking I will wear them in front of my friends. Open question: Could you explain or show diffferent shoes are sold for men in your countries or towns? What heel would be admited?

  2. I am in several points is the same situation as MikeyGee, and of course I would like to match my shoes with my wife ones. She likes shoes, and since I joined this forum I am evolving t share more and more the hobby with her. JeffB, I am lucky if i find a couple of shops in a town and in that case they have mainly flats. Well now we have the net, but I am still scare about the sizes. Why it is so difficoult to have a standard taking into account all the variables? This could be another thead. Going back to MikeyGee comments regarding DownHH welcome, I have to agree with him totally, and besides of that and considering I have been in this forum only 20 days, I already find people like DownHH JeffB and many others as friends. I am loking forward to be able to dedicate some time everyday reading and posting.

  3. Really the level of attention from the people is small compared with our feelings. When I buy any item, not only shoes, I also feel very nervous. But once I get out of the shop with the bag.... what a feeling. If it wasn´t for the "risk", it would not be funny..... :D

  4. Removed toes? This sounds like people loossing to much weight in order to be able to wear fhasion dresses. The question is similar, manufactures should make available fashion shoes for everybody. On the other hand there will be people trying to go not one but many step ahead of the rest of the people. If it is their choice, It is OK.

  5. Genebujold There is an issue. There are so few shops with my size. Internet shoping is the eassiest way. Usually the shops with hheels shoes in large sizes do not sell the size my wife wear. I shall buy shoes for her to start, and keep asking her to help me to try.

  6. I keep asking my wife to by me a pair when she buys one for her. She believes I am joking, It does not matter how many times I mention it. She does not want to do it or expend the money for something of litle usage. Who knows :D

  7. If you do not want to try them, take a men pair of yoursize. Open them and take a reference (ie the trolley bar). Then go to choose the girl model you like and compare with the reference. If the girl ones are a little elastic, it is enven eassier. But why not to enjoy asking for them to a salesgirl and try in the shop?

  8. If we wear our HH in public we must be sure there will be reactions. It also depends how evident or provocative our shoes are. The black boots unther the Jeans could call less atention. Sandals showing red toes is other question. Probably most people will not care, but there could be someone making noise and calling others attention towards us. So I agree we must be ready for the rections. I would try to avoid any discussion, and perhaps I would be sarcastic, rather than explaning. These days is less and less correct to criticise other people clothes, ideas, sex interest etc. In Spanish we use an expresion (Cara dura), "hard face" and this is what I need when doing something unusual.
