I admire your courage. I've only been out once in my 5" heels. I wore them with my leather trousers It wasn't a long walk in public. I was going to a special shop to buy some boots. Given the type of shop, the assistants were totally unphazed by my appearance although I did receive some admiring glances from other clientele both male and female. I ended up buying a pair of 4.5" heel shiny black thigh boots. These are great. They're easy to walk in, although I've never had that much difficulty with 5" heels (why do people make such a fuss?). They also look great both worn over trousers or leggings or underneath.

Helloe lekoluzz, I've also just joined. I hope you manage to achieve those posts. I would love to see your thigh boots.

I've just joined hhplace and unsure what to expect. I've been interested (and enchanted) by high heels since I was young. Unfortunately I outgrew my mother's pairs when I was about 12 which rather limited me trying them on. Pairs of my own have been - a pair of purple suede knee length boots with a 3" heel (up to age 14) - ankle boots with a 3/4" heel (do they count in this forum?) - double ankle strap black 5" heels - calf length cowboy boots with a 2.5" heel - shiny black thigh boots with a 4.5" heel I hope this qualifies me to join. I can say more about some of these if people want. S
