Wasn't always like that Mike. A couple of hundred years ago a man wouldn't have been allowed to be alone in the same room as a woman let alone spend the afternoon looking down her top. I prefer a guy to talk to my heels than my boobs.

So Mark, you're into stockings? Or tights? I adore stockings and I found that they have really spiced up my life. I have a few pairs of black silk stockings with velvet lace and both My man and I are in love with them.

When I'm at work about 8 hours a day, but at weekends maybe around 10-12.

I guess it's universal to both sexes that if a man or woman takes pride in their appearance that makes them attractive. I wonder though if you guys are the rule or the exception?

I met my man because of the heels I was wearing. I was on my way back from work in a fairly neutral blouse and skirt combo (hardly out on the pull). Most guys I met at school were only interested in my boobs.

I love the feeling of confidence they give me. I really feel empowered in heels.

I wish I started wearing heels when I started sixth form. I think they would have helped me feel more confident and saved me from showing off my boobs so much.

The most outrageous outfit I ever wore to school was my school uniform. Even though I never wore heels, I would hike my skirt up so far that it barely covered my bum.

What would you guys say you look at first on a girl, her face, boobs, bum, legs or heels? Or would you just take a sneaky look at the whole package?

I know exactly what you mean. The more I wear my heels, the more addicted I get to them. I think I get withdrawal symptoms if I go without them for a few days.

I, rather foolishly, wore 4in stillettos to my job interview last year and on the day I regretted it. The shoes I'd bought for the interview were my first ever pair of heels and I'd only had a few days to get used to them. I stumbled into the interview room, looking nothing like the confident woman I was trying to present myself as. Luckily my interviewer was a woman, she understood my situation and I got the job.

It'd really freak me out if a guy tried to drink champagne out of one of my shoes. I love the way guys find women in heels sexy, but if they were more interested in my footwear then me I'd be a bit upset lol

I'm a real heels and stockings fan, it's such a sensual combination. I mostly twin them with a pencil skirt and blouse for an elegant look.

Hi everyone, haven't posted in ages because life has been a bit mad lately. I split up with my bf a couple of months ago and it hit me hard, but then everything changed and it's all down to a pair of heels. I work in the lingerie section of a department store and we've got a pretty big selection of heels, plus a 25% staff discount. A few of weeks ago I decided to treat myself to a new pair of shoes, so I ended my day walking out the door in a pair of 4in black slingbacks. By coincidence my car was off the road and I was commuting to and from work by bus. I found myself crossing the road, in the middle of a rain shower, on my way to the bus station when I caught my shoe on the curb and feel to my knees in a puddle. I was more worried about my new shoes than my skirt, but found a hand touch mine and an arm encircle my waist as I was lifted to my feet. The man that had helped me to my feet was at first glance tall, dark and with a touch of the George Clooney about him. He introduced himself and offered to buy me a cup of coffee and all I could do was stare at him and stutter. To cut a long story short I accepted his offer without too much hesitation and we ended up talking for hours before he gave me a lift home and like a perfect gentleman walked me to my door before giving me his number. We've met up several times since and each time I found myself struggling to turn him away at my door. I resisted until last night when he took me out to dinner. I know that I never planned to sleep with him, but I found that as he walked away from my door I didn't want him to leave. What followed was the most amazing night I've ever had. I'd never known the difference between having sex and being made love to until last night. I realised that I had wasted myself on an emotionally immature ex bf and it was his loss not mine. The funniest thing was when I asked my gentleman why he had stopped to help me he replied, "I was following the beautiful woman in the heels". Turns out I've swapped one heels man for another, but that is where the comparison ends. I'm so excited at the thought of meeting him again tonight! Hope I didn't bore anyone and nothings going to stop me posting now! Have any of you guys had any experiences like mine? Would love to hear about some of them if your comfortable telling

My favourite pair, I think, would have to be the very first pair I bought. I knew I was starting an office job so decided to take the high heel plunge. They're a pair of black 3¾in court shoes. I got them from Dorothy Perkins and they have completely opened my eyes!

That is so true! Heels are unique in the way they can change the way you're perceived by the people around you, even my friends tell me I look a lot more confident when I'm in heels. Do you have an absolute favourite pair Heidi? My name is Gemma by the way

I know what you mean! There are some people who are really great at wearing high heels and can wear them all day, everyday. Then comes people like you and I who needs our fluffy slippers, Uggs time to recharge at home so the next day when we are out, we can look fresh in our heels again.

Speaking of fluffy slippers, there are soooooooo many cute designs out there now including all sorts of cartoon characters and animals!!!

I am soooo jealous of women that can comfortably wear heels all day, every day! I know exactly what you mean about needing time to recharge and wake up the next day looking forward to slipping my slingbacks on and facing the world again.

I have a cute pair of bunny rabbit slippers and they're so comfortable I can just melt into them.

I feel more powerful when I'm in heels. I'm at eye level with some of the shorter guys and the way heels make you walk makes me feel like a strong, confident woman. So many women I've talked to wear heels to turn on guys, but when I wear heels its about me and how they make me feel, if guys are turned on then that's a bonus.
