  1. Well you are speaking of my generation, and many of my peers look at me like I am crazy wearing heels. When I ask I just tell them I prefer them due to my dance training. I guess I am not ready to come out of the closet with my shoes yet. I don’t know about you or your wife but I like the attention I get from boys and men alike when I am wearing heels. Your oh so helpful salespersons are just jealous that no one is paying attention to them or their feet.

  2. I love high heels and will always wear them when possible. I have been wearing heels for years starting with dance and tap classes. We had to stretch and loosen up before every class or performance. I currently wear 4 inch heels comfortably (I want to move to 5 inch heels) just as comfortably as if I were wearing an aerobic trainer. Have you considered stretching exercises to loosen up your calves and achilles tendon? I would just die if I had to do aerobics in 4 inch heels.

  3. I have been lurking here for awhile and have browsed many topics and haven't found anything when I comes sizing shoes. I have been wearing heels for 3 years now, and have mastered the 4 inch heel. I am ready to move up to 5 inch heels but will have to order online since this god forsaken podunk town is lucky to even have a Payless let alone a real shoe store. I have read that I should not pay attention to the size on the box and choose the shoe by how it fits. That is great advice but I also have read that the higher the heel the shorter the sole the smaller the shoe should be so get a shoe 1/2 to 1 size smaller. On the other hand I have read to order a size larger to have room for the toes. To make matters worse, I normally wear a size US 7 but also have heels of the same height size 6 to 8. I am ready to buy but with the money I am going to spend I am a little hesitant to order. HELP ME before I go INSANE!!!
