I own a pair and I'm not satisfied at all, they are not worth the money. The leather is wrinkled near the sole and is too soft for a ballet heel - it gives no support. Also one heel is mounted not straight, the shoe does not even stand for itself and always falls to the side. Compared to Pleaser/Devious ballet boots standing or even walking is much harder because the heel is higher, the sole is not ergonomic, the leather is not supporting enough and they are badly manufactured.

Hi, I have a problem with a pair of Pleaser/Devious FEMME-1020 Pony Boots. I laced them with too much force and pulled out one of the lacing hooks. The hook still fits in the hole of the leather but is quite loose. I already tried to fix the hook with some super glue but this only worked for about a week, now the hook is loose again. Is there a way to fix the hook again permanent? Best regards, Michael

What kind of shoes do you wear while sleeping? I think that you need shoes that support/restrict your ankle. You could try ankle boots with an inch higher heels than you wear at day.

Now the site is no longer available because it was hacked . (Don't visit the site without security software!).

They look great. I wish I could buy them, too bad that they are only available up to size 12, i need size 13 .

I don't think that Kassiopeya is actually a manufacturer. Many of their shoes are also available under other brand names like "La Prima" or "Ruby Heels".
Has anybody information about the quality of the ballet heels from www.estresmodes.com?

There are many different reasons for choosing a vegetarian lifestyle and I can understand that some vegetarians have no problems wearing leather. I also have some street shoes made of genuine leather, because sometimes it's nearly impossible to find good quality shoes of artificial leather in "normal" stores....I´ve always asked myself what sense it has people saying they are vegetarians but then wearing shoes of genuine leather.
Are there manufacturers sell ballet boots with shorter heels for affordable prices? Google mostly finds Devious resellers, shady ebay stores and very expensive hand made shoes.... you might check other manufacturers too which do have a shorter heel or different materials right away.

Real leather is out of the question for me, I'm a vegetarian and try to avoid leather as much as possible. The patent leather of Devious seems to be quite stable, but not easy to recolor .

Thanks for the nice replays.
I already got a pair from Devious, they are quite nice but all models interesting for walking are only available in black so I'm looking for something different. If you have any walking-on-balletheels ambitions, I´d recommend devious/pleaser , LSB or similar which do cost more.
What bout the heel length of the Kassiopeya boots? Do they have the same "too long" heels as the Devious which are shortened by many people or do they have a different style?

Hi,
i'm thinking about buying a pair of ballet heels from Kassiopeya (http://www.kassiopeya.de/Ballett-High-Heels) but i'm a little bit worried about the quality because they cost only the half of Devious/Pleaser ballet heels. Has anyone tried the ballet heels from Kassiopeya and can say something about the quality?
