I'm guessing that's where those Steve Maddens of mine came from....
-
Definitely great attention grabbers. Kinda Dorothy meets Peg Bundy.
-
Oh I see now! Oh yes, they are really really nice.
-
Well! This sounds great. Tell me when you guys are meeting up next, and I'll make a little visit back to my home town...
-
Tell you what I'd most love... I'd love a pair of suede wedges in my size. Black, or burgundy.
-
I don't suppose you'd mind putting the link up for us to have a peek? Or the item number on ebay at the very least.
-
Oh whoops. Looks like Daniel got in there before me!

I see where you're at. UK size 8 womens - USA size 10.5 womens, according to this chart:

Having said that, personal experience has found that this isn't always the case. Certainly shapes and variations do vary between manufacturers.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. Are one of those sizes a US size, that you've written as a UK size?

Hey Mal! congats on becoming a silver member. Hope that doesn't imply you've got more grey hairs though. Thought I'd drop in and say hi, and also relay that I'm going to be seeing a Psych to deal with my current stress and insomnia issues. I'm very nervous about it. My parter was with me when I was talking to the doctor, and they have a Psych that they've been seeing for years. It just happened to be the first person my doctor suggested I go see. The quandary is, that my partner suggested to the doctor that she thinks a female doctor is probably going to be a bit too 'soft' for me. She might be right in a lot of ways, but I feel much more comfortable talking to female doctors about... say... things like my love of heels. I can't see myself being comfortable talking to a male psych about that. And it is important. Because I do love my heels, and they do help me release stress. But my current partner is less than encouraging about them, so I have rather made it a closet issue in this relationship. Sorry... didn't mean to start venting to you guys, but I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from. I've gotta organize this all very soon, so we'll see what happens. (deep breath, exhale).

Just had a look at those Karo's on Beverly heels (a seller that has been reasonably good to myself, and a few others I know in the past). Very nice. I do love the look of cork wedges. I would rather like a pair of high cork wedges with a patent leather ankle and toe strap. Nothing over complicated in the leather work, just enough to look modestly strappy and not detract from the gorgeous cork texture. The clear upper however doesn't quite grab me on this occasion.

OH! thanks for that. Lots of useful info there. The problem with Zappos, is the international postage. i.e., they have none. I can use a friends postal forwarding service, but it's so damn expensive. But that's some good information. Anyone else? Incidentally, for those that don't realize, I'm located in Australia.

..... And some of us just like heels....

AH! I like it... It's nice when someone isn't so demeaning label wise. Not everyone... or really anyone... searches in ebay by the term 'crossdresser'.

Good morning Chaps and Chappettes. Like a fair few of you, I'm a gent with a gents size foot. size 10mAU (11m13fUS)to be exact. I'm just curious where others in this forum with man size feet buy their heels from. There's plenty of those 'pleaser' shoes out there, and assorted chinese variants, but what about some better options? I by sheer luck I managed to acquire a pair of black Steve Madden mary Jane stilettos in my size, off ebay (second hand, but in excellent condition) some time back. These would have to be my all time favorite pair of shoes. The quality is so much better than the cheapies available, and they are just plain beautiful. However, I cannot for the life of me find any reference to these shoes on the net. Where did they come from? Are their other pairs in this size from SM, or other manufacturers? What options are there out there for people actually looking for quality and style with larger feet.

They look amazing! Yes, that heel is very high... But I'm sure it's nothing you couldn't accomplish.

I've gotta say. His taste isn't all that bad.

Nine West "Vadim" are what I usualy wear when out in heels.
Had to check those out, as I always love the Nine west stuff.
Very classy. nice.

They look great. Even with such a small photo. Very classy, without being overly formal.

Looking at the way you've just wrote that, I get the feeling you've still got a bit of a buzz going on. Good for you though, It's clear that telling her was very important to you. Glad to hear it went well.

Bladerunner.... I love those first Zara pairs that you displayed. Black, edgy and raw. Just gorgeous.

Well, I wasn't looking for anything in particular. I was really curious about how many Australians were on this forum, and if they were active. Particularly because finding fellow heel wearers in Australia tends to be a bit of a hit and miss affair. Years and years ago, I set up a Yahoo group called 'Australian men in high heels', followed by a facebook group, Australian men in heels. Both still exist more or less. The Yahoo group was so filled with cross dressers, that soon the porn-bots followed along. Within the group it became more or less impossible to keep in contact with fellow heel wearers after that. I do try to track down local Australians whenever I can, mainly because I feel we have a lot to talk about, and would love to share experiences with shopping, going out, partnering etc... with people with a local culture and understanding. Not to mention shopping expertise.

Just thought I'd drop a line here, and divert the conversation a bit (it was started in 2009 after all). Just wondering, how many Australians in heels we have here. (hands up) I'm one.
