For example I have 4 pairs of Pigalle still boxed and unopened. They'll remain that way for sometime as I only wear the current pair for special occasions.

I’ve got a few pairs that I’ve retired – they’re a bit beyond the point where I can wear them but I can’t yet bear to throw them away. They’re in the bottom of my wardrobe and in the spare room. If only I could have them cryogenically frozen, then in the future I could thaw them out when the medical technology existed to repair them. . . .

One of my friend usually use further their favorite shoes after retiring. She polishes them after she uses them for cell-phone holder, jewels and necklace holder, etc. on the tables and commodes.

Yes, I know what you think about. I'm in similar way with my first white patent stiletto heeled classic pumps..., in turn they are "just" 3" high...

By now they are older then 10 years, but when I wear them - and I wear them mostly on weekends -, those good old feelings come into my mind

Maybe I'll never "retire" them

I've got 6" heeled spike heeled sandals, but I can wear 6-7" high stiletto heeled "cream" pumps and boots too without problems.

But for how long? It deepens on what I must do 2-3 hours surelly

My personal favorite is the footwears of Stuart Weitzmann, although once a time if I could spend a day in a Christian Louboutin's Pigalle..., oh, surelly I'd feel myself in the heavens!

I'm glad to be here with you. My name is Anita, so I hope we will be good friends with my namesake Anita C., especially - as I could see - our styles are very similar.

When I started to wear high heels, firstly my friends called me 'White pumps girl', because I wore my first pumps (which is white) very often.

Later, as I've been older and heel heights have grown:smile:, I deserved my other name: 'White Stiletto Heeled Lady'. Of course I like other colours too and yeah, I like to dress as like a 'queen' or at least as like a noble girl:smile: (black, red, blue, etc.)

Yes, I enjoy that feeling what these shoes, boots, etc. give me. I love that dissonant feeling, as they make me sexy, powerful and confident, but delivered and 'vulnerable' too.
