  1. I am sure many of us have seen the poster for the film Mr and Mrs Smith -due for release on June 10th. The actress that plays Mrs. Smith, Angelina Jolie, is wearing a lovely long black cut away dress with a pair of gorgoeus black 4-5 inch heel stilettos. Has anyone else seen the poster ? I can't wait to see the film. Deck

  2. I'm sure you are right, heelsrule. I asked my wife about this again and she says she particularly likes dressing up at night when it is really chilly and having her bare feet in high heeled strappy sandals with the right make up etc. I think there is a bit of a statement about dressing how you want and not letting the weather get in the way of looking smart.

  3. My wife has to dress smart for work so normally wears black patent or black leather pumps with four inch heels ( with or without tights) with a skirt suit when she goes into her office. When not at work she likes to dress differently and last night we went to an office party for Christmas with people from her work. All the gals were very glamourously dressed and my wife wore a lovely party dress and a pair of five inch heeled sandals ( without tights of course) with very narrow red straps. She wore matching red nail polish on her fingers and toes. It is getting very cold in northern England at the moment and I asked my wife if her feet ever got cold when she had bare feet in sandals. Her response was that she loves wearing sandals and does not mind if her feet are a bit cold when she is walking between house and the car or between the car and the hotel or restaurant. I wonder if any other girls are used to wearing sandals in winter and if their feet get cold? Fashion and image are more important than your feet getting a bit cold seems to be the view my wife takes - and I am pleased she does.

  4. I'm sure that sandals with high heels and very narrow straps must look better worn with bare feet and painted toe nails. However, my wife still prefers to wear pumps/court shoes with bare feet rather than hose even if most people reading this prefer hose with closed shoes. Does anyone, apart from my wife and I, think that closed shoes look better with bare feet ?

  5. As I posted the other day, my wife has a pair of sandals with four inch stiletto heels with very narrow straps - more like laces really - round over her toes at the front and then round the back of her heel, crossing over and round the front of her ankles and then tied at the back. She looks great wearing them when we go out - but only in bare feet - I cannot imagine them worn with hose and don't think they would look half so attractive.

  6. I totally disagree that all high heels look better with hose rather than worn with bare feet. Wearing tights or stockings with sandals is a definite No-no - an absolute fashion disaster. As I posted earlier, my wife hates any hose and never wears them. She loves wearing high heels, especially when we go out together and loves sandals compared to Court shoes / pumps. She wears bare feet in sandals right throughout the year when we go out together and says her feet never get too cold. She recently bought a pair of very sexy sandals - 4 inch stiletto heels and very thin black straps just to keep them on - very minimalist. Worn with bare feet - of course and red nails - both fingers and toes - is the ultimate look for my wife as far as I am concerned and I feel so great when we go out together and see other guys looking at her. Do any girls have any views on this issue ?

  7. I can see that opinions on this are divided. My wife likes wearing high heels of all types but hates wearing hose of any description and never does so. She either keeps her feet bare or wears socks with shoes or boots when it is too cold to do so. Last night we went out for a meal at a smart restaurant and she wore 4 inch high heel pumps with bare feet and looked great !
