  1. Very good, Emma! :D When I read that sentence again right now, I realized that it could be easily interpreted that way. That made me laugh. But, in fact, that might have happened if I wouldn't have stopped the exercise just a second before the damage would be done. It's always good to know when to stop! :D

  2. It appears that the majority of people posting so far have a great dislike for flip-flops. If that is the case, how come that they are still being sold and not languishing on the counter tops covered with cob-webs???

    Dawn HH

I think there's a simple reason for that: this is the "HighHeel meeting place", and to me it is logical that the vast majority of people posting here on our forum can't find anything attractive about something like those "flip-flops", regardless if they are male or female. If this was the "low heel" or "comfy loafers" forum it would certainly be the other way round :D

  3. You're absolutely right, Heelfan. I made the same experience as you. When I started wearing heels in 1978 there was no other chance than buying them in a shop, because I didn't like the catalogue styles. At first I also made excuses (for my gf/mother and so on), but I only made a fool of myself and I think everyone in the shops realized it. But I have to admit that it took me almost ten years before I had the courage and the confidence to buy my heels openly. I also think that it might help to visit a smaller shoe store where there is a more personal atmosphere and you don't get the feeling that loads of people are watching you while you are trying on different pairs.

  4. kneehighs:-) That was a great idea to post at Style.com! Very interesting reactions and discussions in that thread there. I was surprised to learn that besides the usual "gay" reaction (and a very good dementi BTW) a majority of different posters seem to at least accept the fact that men's styles are boring and therefore are more tolerant of guys in heels than I expected. I'm sure to follow this thread further on and think that we guys from our community here should refrain from posting reactions there at least for the first days. It's very interesting to watch discussions from a distance by people who aren't into our "heely themes" as much as we are here.

  5. From my perspective, wearing pants with heels, especially if they are somewhat figure hugging (they don't have to be skin-tight), the way a woman walks, that knows how to gracefully walk in hi-heels is much more "stimulating" in pants than in a dress or skirt--the effect is just much more enhanced. And the heels ARE revealed while the legs are moving

That's my perspective, too. Thanks a lot for pointing it out so clearly, Azraelle.

BTW, in the pic above you can immediately tell that she (he??) is wearing ankle boots. Just look at the right leg. That could be a pic of me, because that's exactly the way I wear my stilettos around town. Might be a good example how to do it for guys who haven't had the nerve yet to wear their stilettos in public.

  6. Hi Vanity,

those Pleaser heels are sold on www.ebay.de by a very reliable seller named "mmshoes". Most of the time they are available in all sizes, black and red, with or without ankle straps, starting from 49 Euros. Also a lot of other styles with 6" or 7" heels there.

  7. Unfortunately they aren't common at all :D I never saw a guy in stilettos around town, except me...... But I must admit that normally I don't look at men's shoes. Too boring in 99%. In the rural area where I live it's normally 3" block heel. No problem at all, people know me that way. But when I'm on my way to a big city for shopping or just strolling around it's 4" stilettos worn with a completely male casual attire. When out in public I only wear leather boots of the latest fashion under jeans, just the style women like to wear today. (Very) pointed toes, black, brown, sometimes tan, but only if the weather is really good. Never got negative comments, at least not so that I could hear them. Congratulations for your street-heeling in NYC, Wallflower! Keep it going.

  8. Bob HH :-) I don't think the author of that article you mentioned has a heel fetish. Otherwise he (or she) wouldn't refer to them as "killer" or "stripper" shoes. These old stereotypes are used by people who tend to ask the ever exciting question "Oh, how can you walk in these???" :D And, Chris, I think you're right. It doesn't seem such a big deal to wear these plats. The difference in height between the platform and the heel isn't that big. After all, platforms are more comfortable to wear than stilettos, if you have a well padded insole. I think the problems cited in this article would have occured in flat shoes also, they aren't related directly with wearing heels, as the author might suggest. Anyone who isn't used to standing and/or walking around for a long period of time could experience problems with sore feet, regardless of the shoes.

  9. nhoj62 :-) Another great pair of boots, very sexy looking. Great with this brown skirt, as I mentioned earlier. I like metal heels also and I think you have to replace the tip with a metal one. But this plastic one will be worn down pretty soon anyhow... They'll look just gorgeous with a pair of tight fitting jeans :D I've got a similar pair of Buffalo boots with a metal stiletto heel and I love wearing them with blue jeans. Looks and feels grrrrreat.....

  10. Love the mules Kromozome! Very original.

    Was a price mentioned ?

    Cheers, Paul.

These are very extravagant and sexy shoes, for sure!

As a regular LV customer they always send me their latest catalogues including a price list, and I can tell you that the shoes for SS04 collection have a price range between 380 and 560 Euros over here in Germany (or 250 to 370 Pounds, or 475 to 700 US $).
