Heelguy you are a wonderful person that deserves happiness. If I had kept a closed mind like I had many years ago I would have been miserable. I would have never married the man of my dreams nor would I have met the amazing friends that we share because of our passions for heels and other things. I hate to admit that I ever was close minded about men in high heels. I am happy that my bestfriend gave me advice that I still follow to this day. I am grateful that my husband lives his life how he wants and doesn't worry about what others think (and that we are the same shoes size.....those Jimmy Choos are so going to be on my feet after he opens the box!). I am also blown away by the community here. You are all such open and caring people. It is a wonderful feeling to come here and see what is being said. Muah! ~G~

I dislike uggs just about as much as my hubby hates flip flops. They are so ugly. Muah ~G~

Awww I am going to tear up a little. Thank you both for the kind words I just try to keep an open mind and accept people for who they are and not judge them for what they do.

You are right Dawn I should try. Any suggestions on which new would be the best to buy? I have a skirt that I can wear with them just need to buy the shoes. It will be the first time I am nervous in heels because I am nervous already.

I would have to say ballet heels. I see them at one store all the time but I am afraid to try them. I do think about wearing them out with my hubby in a long thigh skirt. Muah! ~G~

Wow I have to say that I am jelous of tour legs heelguy they are so georgous that I am afraid words could not do them justice. Now on to your outfits because I have a few things I would like to say. The first outfit is wonderful for your age. It looks a lot like my nurse assistant's clothes when she is off work and going out. I love it, it is so fitting for you and the black heels are great with it. The pictures of those shoes make me want them to add to my collection. A wonderful choice. The second outfit looks ok. With your legs it is a crime to cover them with leggings. Instead of leggings try leg warmers(one of the only '80s fashion that I still adore). Same with the 3rd outfit lose the leggings. The blue heels are very sexy but the black heels would have looked better. The office outfit was georgous by far my favorite. I agree with the tube dress you should wear the gladiator sandals. It looks so nice! Be confident and you will always look good and be willing to go out in whatever clothes -YOU- want to wear. You look great and I hope that you will wear heels for years to come.

Below 4" and I really don't know I have heels on. I have been wearing them for 16 years so my feet have had time to adjust quite a bit. I think that "high" starts at 4" and goes from there. I get a giggle out of young women that I see coming out of Deb, Wet Seal or Journeys wearing the heels that they have to offer because more often than not they have never taken the time to learn to walk in them. Muah ~G~

Thank God there are still women out there (like all on the ones here) that still wear heels!
Oh and Welcome!
I am sometimes pained when I see a woman wear flip flops with an outfit that would look so much better with heels. I wear heels for what they do for my body. Yes, sometimes my feet pay for wanting to look good but it is a small price to pay and at the end of the day I am rewarded for it.
Heels are great and muah to you all!

Thank you Bubba136 I am happy to be here. I do have a true passion for heels because I believe that they are the most comfortable shoes I own.

My 6" booties are by far my favs. I like to wear them as often as I can and I look for any excuse to do so. I have several other 6" heels that are worn but I think I wear 5" more often than not. I can go about 9 hours in 6" heels but then I got a foot massage:silly:

I own several pleaser shoes and I have to say that I have found them to be all true to size with the exception of the open toe shoes. Those seem to run a little large. I like them because they are inexpensive and easy to replace. The seduce line are very nice and so far for me have held up well under normal wearing.

Hello to everyone I am the wife of 5inchforme. I am happy to be a part of this community and I wanted to send a special thanks to Tech and Dr. Shoe for all your assistance in helping become a part of the community. You both are the best. MUAH! A little about me. I have had a passion for high heels since I was a young girl and started wearing them at the age of 12. At first they were hard to walk in but with my mothers help I learned how to look like a lady and walk more than 5 steps before falling over. I started wearing heels exclusivly at 15 and I have never looked back. I own 3 pairs of flat shoes including my running shoes that I usually wear for work. Since 5inch and I have been married we have both enjoyed high heels and I think we will until our bodies can't take it anymore. I work as a pediatrics doctor so I don't get to wear heels at work very often but I am happy when I do. My favorite to wear are my 6" stiletto booties from a place in germany. My other loves are sandals and wedges. I look forward to getting a chance to talk to you all and enjoying myself as much as my husband has! Ginaveve

Being nearly 6 feet tall I inevitably get the comments about my height and how it is foolish for me to be wearing heels or how awful it must be for my husband to be shorter than me. It is all rubbish as far as I am concerned mostly because no one can know on the inside how I feel about my footwear. I try to stay in the highest heels my feet can stand and I have suffered a few times for it but it was all worth it. I have had a couple women ask me about my shoes though it seems that a lot of people look. I have gotten rude comments from mothers that bring thier children into see me for a check up or what have you but saying anything back would just be a waste of breath and I would probably lose a patient as well. Women can be down right cruel when it comes to fashion and I have even caught myself doing it. Guess the things we all have to remember is that it is another person and we should have respect for them as a person.
