  1. Maximilian You must have been reading my mind; those three reasons are my ultimate pet hates when it comes to fulfilling my desire/fetish for high heel boots. As for those boots: Wow, they are perfect. My favourite style in the late 70s/early 80s pull on high heel OTK and those YSL boots are exactly the same. The price was very reasonable but (sigh) my size nine (UK) feet will never be accommodated by such designers. Ah well, back to dreaming of struting my stuff in those boots.

  2. From chatting to female friends, family, and my wife they generally agree that 4" is high for everyday wear with 3" being comfortable and above 5" to be uncomfortable after short periods. There were some exceptions with one family friend having no heels below 4" and quite a few aove 6"; she has a shoe ad boot fetish too - yum!

  3. Bravo indeed for your wife. It is important for narrowminded cynical myopic busybodies to realise that their opinion is just that; their opinion and not the "carved in stone" attitude of society in general. I only wish society in Ireland could speed up its acceptance of high heel wearing men; pretty much in the dark ages here (SOB).

  4. Being new to this forum it is interesting to see the diverse approaches we all have to wearing heels. I started out, years ago, with just boots under jeans/pants but have found that a skirt can accentuate the boots/heels I am wearing. Like many of you, however, I am not interested in "living my life as a woman" but just enjoy the feeling, and look, I get from wearing high heel boots. A good looking masuline outfit with high heels still is, to me, very sexy.

  5. Hi all, I'm a forty-something lecturer who has always had a passion for high heel boots. For years I thought I was wierd but, thanks to fora like this, I have discovered a sizeable community like myself. I hope to share photos soon of my considerable collection of boots and shoes. Thanks for allowing me join your wonderful forum. Bootlover123
