  1. I see intolerance evrywhere be it religion, political, social or family. I may be seen as too optimistic but when we have children I will support them in what ever choice they make in life outside of something harmful to them. If my son is gay and wants to live his life with another man you better believe that I will be at his wedding and I will be proud of him for being himself. If my daughter chooses to become a stripper then I would want her to be the best stripper she can be again I will support her 100%. I know that both cases are extreme but they happen everyday. Childen are taught by thier parents to carry the values that they themselves were taught. Until people change the way thier children are taught then intolerance will always be a part of every life in every country.

  2. Happyinheels: I am so very pleased with the ladies that we interact with. Either my wife or I will go into the store (we both go quite often as well) and one of the ladies will introduce us to a new employee. I think that right there shows me that they are happy to have our business and we will go there for a long time. It is a blast when we see our ladies in the store or out in public. Sometimes they will run up to us and show off a new purchase that they have made. I always thought that was sweet. In my wifes line of work she sees quite a few of our ladies and helps them with the same kindness and proffessionalism that they will show us.

  3. We are at the mall now in Bakers and I told the ladies here about some of the things that have been said. they agree that it is different to see a man in the store trying on heels but they want to be as helpful as possible. One of the ladies here said," I am happy that you come in here and can make an otherwise ordinary day a little more fun for us and the other girls that work here." Get to know some of the people that you do buy from and you never know what you might find.

  4. DawnHH: I agree with what you said we all do help keep them in business. What I meant by what I said is that the way we are treated in so many of the local shoe stores make us feel like we are the ones keeping them open by our patronage. Each time we go in we are almost always greeted by first name. It is that feeling that keeps us going in and avoiding buying online. We take every avalible chance to treat those business persons with the utmost respect and they do the same for us in kind. I am very grateful for the service they provide.

  5. I have had that happen on a couple of occasions with saleswomen. I had one invite me out with her to a club in heels. I already knew about the place and my wife and I went on occasion. Aldo and bakers honestly seem to have the nicest staff and they are always willing to go the extra mile around here at least.

  6. I like to try them on in the store. Very rarely will I order off the Internet unless I can't find something in the store. I have several store managers that email or text me when they get new shoes in the store so I can get first pick. There are times I think my wife and I keep shoes stores in business.

  7. Bubba: this is my third pair of red heels so I am use to the stares. I will wear them out to the mall or when I am on on of my consultations. I don't feel out of place in heels because at the end of the day I can come home and be myself. Life is what to make of it so do what makes you happy.

  8. She and my wife are very close friends now and she often goes shopping with us. She is a wonderful young woman that knows how to be proffesional. Like i said we have been friends for 5 years now and we always get her a total outfit for her birthday and christmas. I didn't see the other girl after a couple months. I just went to our new friend for everything.

  9. JeffB: no she was wearing a long broomstick skirt and crocs. My wife is great she found out that I wear heels the hard way which I have always wished I could go back and change. Since she found out though she has been great about it always encouraging me to wear them as much as i can. She bought me skinny jeans just so she could see them better haha

  10. I don't recall ever having a man assist me in a store. However, my worst expirence involved a very young female assistant at a dilliards close to my home. I walked in wearing my 5" d'orsay peep toes and saw a pair of maroon pumps that caught my eye. After waiting for a couple minutes the young woman came out and asked if I needed something so I indicated to her that I would like to see the shoes in my size. Immediately she rolled her eyes and muttered something under her breath as she walled into the back to see if my size was availible. I am pretty easy going so I didn't make a big deal out of it. When she came back she said that they were not in stock in my size and walked away from me before I had a chance to ask anymore questions. Honestly I expect comments but to be outright rude to someone that is interested in making a purchase is not something I will accept. My best expirence was a different young woman at that same dillards about 5 minutes later. I walked around the store to see if I could find something nice for my wife after the awful service I received in the shoe department. (I hold salespeople responsible for thier actions not the store. Unless it happens often) As I looked through a selection of tops another young woman approached me and inquired about needing assistance. I took a deep breath and told her that I was interested in one of the tops for my wife and I was wondering if they had anyother deals going on. She told me about all the sales that were going on in the department and went on to say that if it was a gift they would giftwrap it for me for free. After dealing with the first young woman I was very pleased with this woman. I asked her what she would recommend to go with the tops I had picked out and after thinking for a few seconds she asked me to follow her. Of course being in heels I was making noise as I walked and the young woman started looking around trying to figure out if someone else was following her needing assistance as well. After looking very confused that there was no one there except for me she gave up and walked over to were they had the skirts and began showing me what she thought would gonwell with the tops. While we were talking she dropped the skirt she was trying to hang up and looked down. She saw my shoes and at first was shocked then asked me where I bought my shoes from. I told her where I got them at and she continued to help me stopping only to tell me how beautiful my shoes were and she wished she had a pair. We finished up and as I was walking away she told me about a sale in the shoe department, I told her that I had already been there and didn't have much luck. She then told me that she would be happy to help me in that department as well so I thought I would give it a try. Well 2 hours later I bought 7 pairs of shoes that I had passed by and I was very happy with my service. I wrote a letter to the corperate hq and told them about my shopping expirence. After I got home I talked to my wife about what had happened and she said it would be a good idea to thank the saleswoman so I went two weeks later and bought the same shoes I had on in her size and went to the store looking for her. She was there and I handed the bag to her telling her thank you for the wonderful service and watched her eyes light up as she pulled the shoes out and put them on right there. My wife and I made a wonderful friend that day and the woman is still working in that store to this day only she is the manager now and after 5 years she still has those heels and comes by once a week to have lunch with us.

  12. I feel lucky everyday I wake up next to her. She does a lot for me and makes sure that I am a very happy man. Sometimes I don't know what I did to be married to such a wonderful woman. I love my last pair of JC's so I am sure that these will be just as wonderful.

  13. I would have to say yes after wearing heels for the better part of 10 years and not really having to deal with anyone saying much about my choice of footware. My wife and I are always out in heels and I can only think of one ba reaction. That surprisingly came from a woman that told me that high heels were for women and that I should take them off immediatly. My wife politely pulled the woman off to the side and informed her that not only did she enjoy me in heels she was proud that her husband could be himself instead of following the status quo. Sometimes men will cast a sideways glance but more often than not no one seems to care and when they do take notice I am usually asked where I got my shoes from. I believe in the not to distant future the choice of clothing will not be defined by gender and we will see more men dressing how they want.

  14. Well I am a wearer and an admirer. For myself I love the way that heels make my feet feel and I love the sound they make. I enjoy wearing them wherever I go which for me I will take any excuse to walk around in my heels. I also love to see a woman in heels because they look so alluring in them. It is fun to see the new styles and to buy them as soon as I can. My wife is often stealing my shoes so that she can be the center of attention haha. I am grateful that a site like this exists.
