Hi All I've bought a pair of black patent heels (from New Look with white edge & bow at back @5"), which have a white streak mark down the side which needs removing. I've tried spit & polish, gentle scratching but don't want to try anything more abrasive as it may scratch the patent, also thought of nail varnish remover or white spirits but thought that would remove the patent. Any suggestions? Silvikrin

You're right it's a gem. Also has quite a following amongst American film stars looking at the number of names on 'star in a reasonably priced car', was it Diaz & Cruise last week? Anyway isn't this a website for high heels? So what type of heels do you think Jezza wears on a saturday night? I think stilletto heeled thigh high boots! Silvikrin

Hi All
I'm back in Manchester now but by looks of the economy up here will probably be coming back down to London.
There's a few fetish clubs around, have a look on:
http://www.londonfetishguide.com/ -has an interactive map!
http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/
www.fetlife.com
to name but a few, errr:nervous: I might also be a member on a couple of these so look me up.
I've been to TG's & it was far better than Erotica, but note the dress codes at the clubs, turn up in a shirt & trousers even with a pair of heels & you'll probably be turned away, I'm not saying you need to go overboard but have a look at the photo's on the website for an idea. Note the photo's are normally of the members who have gone an extra yard in their outfits.
My suggestion if you're a bit embarrised & don't want to be recognised is to go overboard, also wear a good quality Masquerade mask or be cool & wear sunglasses!

I tottered around London (when i lived there last year) in my work suit with courts heels & rarely got noticed, also recently in Trafford centre (Manchester) & only got spotted twice I think. So I'd say only if you're otherwise quite femininely dressed do you get noticed.....unless you're clicking on the floor in your heels & there's no other ladies about- bit of a giveaway, although quite funny watching the blokes turning around trying to locate the lady in heels not realising it's me. I've got a pair of ladies adidas gym shorts for wearing after the gym/ballet, look great with a pair of tights. Shorts are a must (albeit getting dressed into tights & heels etc in an open plan gents changing room does get a few funny looks!)

I'll try, tight schedule, I'm in france the fortnight before & friends flying in from China the following week, but will make an effort as this sounds like great fun.

My fiancee can't drive well in heels, for that matter she can't drive well out of them, OW!.....ok she's a very careful driver & just recently passed. Point being it depends on the experience & aptitude. Silvikrin (& Fiancee)

Welcome, I've only ever been out in Wakefield once. Didn't strike me as a place a bloke could walk around in heels, definitely ladies though. tell us more. Silvikrin

Hi Geneve, my girlfriend wears heels too, but not larger than say 3 inches. Although I've got to say you've touched on a topic i've never really considered, hmmm, wedges.......

'Tarty' might be more palatable, although I'd still use that with care.

I thought Aussies were all the butch farmer types, maybe that's the reason for the preference for boots? Hopefully you're not talking Uggs! Let us know what type of heels you want to buy? I'd suggest something like a T-bar or with a strap if you're not used to the slipon type just yet. Goog luck buying.

Albeit it's not a site about nylons, I'd say nylons/tights are a must if you're wearing heels, in fact it's positively embarrising if you're not as I found out the other day. Went up to St Albans for a day trip with the girlfriend & ended up in New Look (again) & found a fab pair of 6 inch ankle heel boots for £15. However as I tried them on I remembered I wasn't wearing tights but a pair of 'manly' socks which of course had to come off & underneath two week old, rather chiped nail varnish. I was more embarrised about that than walking up & down the shop in the heels! Still bought them.

Me too, toe to head & back again every time. Silvikrin

Thanks all, I probably have walked past other members, but sometimes I'm probably in my own little world. I'm more surprised they haven't seen me coming back from Ballet in my tights, wandering through St.Pancras station. Looking forward to getting into the forums. Although somewhat surprised my works laptop lets me in here, it bars everywhere else! S.

Fab site, which I kind of happened across and thought 'Wow, I'm home!' Anyway I'm currently in London working during the week and Manchester during (some) weekends, and yes I catch the train in my heels (and possibly corset). I've got some fab 3-4 inch brogue heels in both black & brown from 'New Look', go great with jeans or suit, even bought myself some pinstripe ladies trousers for the right 'swish' as I walk (they also hide the heel a bit if I'm feeling a bit self consious on the tube-although I do get spotted occasionaly). Other than that I'm very much into ballet, the dancing, not just the shoes! Ta ra for now chucks Silvikrin

SkinTwo Halloween Ball-London
in Real Life Meetings
Posted
Hi, Anyone thinking of going to to the SkinTwo Halloween ball in London, well Berkshire actually? I believe it's a 3 day event. I'm working there on the Saturday handing out the Baddie bags so say hi. Silvikrin
