  1. This is a clip from Norways largest newspaper, which features Maria Haukaas Storeng who gets interviewed about the heels she is wearing. The clip is in Norwegian but I have provided an English translation.

The clip from VG TV: http://atvs.vg.no/player/?id=17305

    English Translation:

00:06 Reporter: Maria, this was a song the audience knew well!

00:09 Maria: YES. I love it when the audience know the lyrics and sing along

00:21 Reporter: You look very nice today and I have to ask you about your shoes. How are you able to keep your balance?

00:26 Maria: That’s no problem. I’ve been practicing

00:29 Reporter: How tall are they? (Almost inaudible)

    00:30 Maria: I don’t know really. I think they are about 12 cm (4, 3/4 inches)

00:38 Reporter: But you are steady as a rock?

    00:40 Maria: Sure

00:41 Reporter: You received a lot of practice on the slippery stage in Belgrade (Eurovision Song Contest)

00:44 Maria: (Giggles) Well, I’ve been wearing high heels on stage for a long time now, but now I can dance in them as well. So that helps your balance. The trick is to walk on your heels though.

"According to Reuters, a High heel race was held in Moscow this

Saturday July 28th. The required minimum heel height was 9 cm. Similar

events also took place in St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk,

and Samara, and the winner in Moscow was the Muscovite Maria Kanarova."

  3. Did anyone of the swedish members watch Swedish Idol on tv4 on 15/10-04?

When I saw the yellow thigh boots Stina was wearing, my yaw dropped to the floor! I've been searching the web for a picture, but so far no luck.

The boots she wore looked liked theese:

  4. I was wondering if anyone else thinks that ballet boots look much better with pants or a long skirt. I often see them worn with very short skirts or sometimes even less, and I don't think it looks as good. Picture below from very high heels is a great example.

I agree, ballet boots looks much better with pants, and that picture is perfect.

Ballet boots with denim and a corset wow. :-?

  5. I have been sleeping with high heels on from time to time. A few weeks ago I decided that I was going to slep with heels on for an entire week.

The shoes I wear in bed , don't have a stiletto heel. So the heels doesn't get stuck in the sheets.

    Here is a picture:

  6. I love yellow shoes. It started when I was about 12 years old and my sister bought a pair of yellow high heels (3 inches) at a local market. She was going to use the shoes for a "bad taste party". After the party she threw the shoes away.

But they never ended up in the bin. They somehow ended up in my closet :D

15 years later I still got the shoes, but they are way to small for me. They are a size 5 UK and I wear 9-10UK.

I recently bought a pair of yellow shoes that would fit me:

They are made by Ellie shoes, model 8221
