  1. my desire to wear heels at the office led me to start dressing better and I wanted my clothes to look as nice as my shoes.

I for instance, feel much better when I'm dressed well.

That's the problem with men's shoes. They all look the same to me. We allways wear black or blue shoes.

With women shoes there's more variety, low heel, midheel, high heel.

The shoes never look the same.

So every time I wear a suit (5 times a week) and a different pair of womenshoes, I feel like as if I made a huge change of outfit, but I feel much better when wearing those ugly and dull mens shoes.

Wearing red shoes, you can't just wear a white shirt and black pants. It's just not matching.

You have a good point JeffB.

  2. Thanks guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I did it. On my way to work, wearing my lower heeled shoes, I stopped at a gasoline station, got out of my car to get a cup of coffee. While walking I was thinking: Nobody is going to ruine this for me!!!!!!!!!! And nobody did!! They didn't even look at the shoes. The next coming weeks I'm going to wear these shoes and I'm going to repeat this every morning. Then the next step.....higher heeld shoes.

  3. perhaps you could give us some suggestions jeff (based maybe on your own experiences)

I would love to hear that too.

I've been out with a lower heel at night. No problem.

I would love to wear those shoes at daylight too.

Everytime I build up so much confidence, that I think to myself, nobody is going to stop me. But when the moment of truth is there.......... I seem to lose all build up confidence within a couple of seconds.

  4. Nice boots for stepping out  in Amsterdam, Manus.

A few weeks ago I wore these

and nobody said anything, even when I stood still in the busiest street (Kalverstraat), eating an icecream with the shoes of the boots with the heels plainly visible.

Where did you buy these boots Robert?

I'm looking for a pair like that.

  5. Just a word of caution:

Check first very carefully if you have real chances of being understood and accepted. Otherwise, think over it twice and make a balance between the pros and cons of what you intend to do and its potential consequences.

I am not discouraging you to try it, but first sense very carefully the land you are about to venture in.

Well Bob, I met the lady yesterday.

She was very kind to me, we talked about the sports and about the shoes.

At the end it turned up that we will be meeting each other frequently as a friend. I'm married and so is she.

The fact that I like to wear women shoes, doesn't matter at all.

Allthough I understand your word of caution, I think that if we want to be accepted in what we do, who we are, what we wear, we have to have more faith in the other person to get the acceptance.

  6. Chris, The path that I will choose is to tell my wife, that's for sure. I'm just trying to get the guts to do it. There are many ways to tell, straight to the point or a bit more gentle. I allready know that I have to do it as gentle as possible. I've read a lot of topics about telling the wife, and it's absolutely true that everyone has to be honest. I have an honest character, and because I've havn't told her yet, I actually feel ashamed of myself. I must, I will and I really want to tell her. Eventually I will feel better myself too. But because I can be very direct and not very tactfull sometimes, I have to find that gentle way. I will be very thankfull for any advice to this subject.

  7. Hi everyone, I just have to tell you all what I experienced lately. To begin with I just received 3 pair of nice women shoes wich I bought from a lady on the internet. We communicated by mail and I told her straight away that I'm a man who loves wearing women shoes. Her answer to that was; now that is nice to hear, no matter what, I'm selling the shoes to you and to no one else! The shoes arrived today in an excellent condition and very nicely polished! Before this transaction I tried to buy a pair of boots also from the internet. I told that woman too that I'm a man who loves to wear women shoes. She didn't have a problem with it either, but she wished that I mailed her earlier, they were just sold. She too told me that if they were still for sale, that I was the one who she would have sold them to, no matter what. I still have contact with her. For my sport and hobby (apart from women shoes) I do horseriding with two horses at the same time (Sorry, I don't really know the exact english word for this discipline). She knows about this and guess what? SHE AND HER HUSBAND WANT TO COME AND LOOK AT MY NEXT COMPETITION!!!!! on the 28th of march. It's a car ride for her round about 100km and she's coming! This is to me a sign that there really is a lot of acceptance and this (together with the other stories of the other guys on the board) will certainly help me by telling my wife. Even because I'm married to her now for 9 years, till now I didn't have the guts yet to tell her, but now I must, will and want to tell her.

  8. Fabuleous Canadianbeaver! I have just started to wear my shoes in public. Not yet in broad daylight, and not yet in high heels. If you read your experience, we should ask ourselfs, Why are we sometimes so scared. I still ask myself this question. Could it be the area we are in? Could it be the country we are in? As I understand the women don't really mind at all. It's the reaction from the "men". God knows what they do out of public! I have spoken to some women too about this, and they are pretty understanding. Although it is a big step for heel wearing men, but we feel good like this and we just should go out in public, NO MATTER WHAT!

  9. For all of us who live in The Netherlands, I can recommend Silhouette in Rotterdam.

On the internet you can find them at www.silhouette.nl

I've been in the store at "De Groene Hilledijk".

They certainly have a wide range of shoes. Men and women. Low heels to high heels and fetish shoes.

The best thing about this shop is that they are used to men coming in to fit women shoes. There is even a possibility to fit the shoes in the back of the shop.

In my opinion absolutely not a sleezy shop. Good quality, and very friendly.
