  1. Pebblesf yes  I have always thought that women with tiny feet and even guys wearing high heels have a harder time with the angle of the arch , quite nice to confirm my thoughts on this but I do  get conscious that my small feet in high heels do draw attention especially if im not wanting this due to the situation.

Northeasthee   ho yes the choice of heels is amazing in uk 5s and 6s so yes im with you on that.

  2. Thank you guys kind of confirm what iv been experiencing with sizing,  I do from time to time try on in store and just get a bit embarrassed .

Having quite small feet I have managed until now to wear a uk 5 or 6 but recently found the width a issue becoming very narrow , on one shoe shopping trip the helpful female assistance commented on my feet shape explaining that I have wide feet due to bunions and this is why im now unsure if I have worn the wrong size shoes,   I spend maybe 3/4 of the week in female quite conservative styles ankle boots and wedge heel sneakers heel range up to 4 inch.

  3. Hi guys I don't post very often but think I will just say , im the totally opposite to you bigger shoe size people  and having small feet as a guy can draw attention to your self especially when wearing heels because feet look so tiny and ppl look.

I have uk size 5 feet so even a  3 inch heel block heel ankle boot can make my feet look small but regarding buying shoes its nice to have the choice that I can find good choices as a guy who likes to wear heels .

  4. C10setheels , sorry to here the dissapointment with the wedge heel sneakers im sure not all makes are like that,  i know what you meen about that you like you feel that your wearing a higher heel ! im the same.

I wear mine often and i can feel the wedge at 3.5 "  high on a uk size 6 it dont change how i walk but feels nice ' sure you know ' , just hope you get a better make or style that works for you and enjoy.

  5. This topic got me interested in wedge sneakers. But didn't find a pair i liked, until yesterday. I ordered a pair of black/gray/silver ones and you can hardly see the wedge. I'm very curious about how they feel. I'll post some pics when i get them. :) HI interesting that you like the hidden wedge sneakers style, I find the wedge heel sneaker style footwear really easy to wear any where as a guy would, no one evet notices that your wearing a heel and ythey are so comfortableto wear all day, mine are about 3 inch high wedge and there better to walk in than guy s flat sole ones, regard s tim
  6. Yes, once you go beyond 5 inch heel non-platform, every 1/4 inch higher increases the angle significantly, so a 6 inch or higher gets very close to 90 degree incline.

I only own a couple of pairs of 6" non-platforms and would say I can walk in them for about 5 minute intervals, but couldn't go a significant distance that I would even think of wearing them out of the house.

I have noticed it is a little bit easier to do with boots, for me anyway, perhaps the extra support from boots helps out, and I think as pebblesf mentioned the quality of the shoe construction/design can make a difference as well.

Yes hhboots you are so right about the 1/4 inch making the difference when the heel gets over 5" with out a platform, im speeking for my wife Pauline who wears a 5 inch heel but when she wears a 6inch heel her ability to walk and stand normaly in them is a lot harder but she can cope in that hight faily well.
  7. Trolldeg the high stilettos was a ebay purchace about a year ago, there a bit big on her and for the heel hight she finds they have a much steeper arch than some classic 6" stilettos she has. can you id these shoes ? there is no make at all in or on the soles, they appear to be patent leather and very sold made, thanks Tim

  8. When i worked in a high street shoe shop many years ago i always noticed how a small size high heel shoe look compared to larger sizes, for sure in my eyes a eu 35 to eu38 always looked very steep on the inner step arch area, many times forcing the lady to notice how high the heels felt and in fact that was on 4." 4.5" heels with out plats that i emagine in larger sizes would not feel so high, but i think smaller is sexy :silly:.
