What I meant by the "freak" comment is the perception of the boy or another guy in heels by the masses out there. Not that I feel that way...... well maybe only call that myself for grins when in heels and something "girly"
-
Doubt that would be said here, but elsewhere suppose so.... too bad, and about us "freaks"

Too cool and funny. My boy about the same age, he's put on his sister's shoes, having about as much fun, until she saw it BTW, if daddy puts on mommy's shoes why not the sister's.....

Yeah, this kid is way spoiled and way too early to be in heels. Sometime in high school is time to start "experimenting" with heels with proms and dances as such. That's my 2 pennies.

Flock of Seagulls, I ran so far away........

Actually, I have my 5 year old daughter paint my toe nails. obviously, not worth a picture, but she's getting better Pedi very occassionally. Showed up in a dress and open toe heels once, fun!

Like!!! In fact my current pic is of my fav JS's

I like the hidden platform of say about an inch, so 5" heels with 1" platform are ideal. For example, look up/Google Jessica Simpson Francesca heel. mmmm yummy. That's my favorite!

All, What's a good place around Denver or COS to go out in heels, without too much attention? I like office parks or the lower key areas around Park Meadows, Inverness. Also around Southlands. Usually quiet spots for someone somewhat shier like me. Look forward to feedback from your outings in the area. Thanks!

HI All,
I bought these today at Nordstrom Rack. It's the Jessica Simpson Francesca heel with 5 inch heel and 1 inch platform. First time at 5 inches. Feels fabulous, but need to be a bit more careful with my stride. Look so amazing with some off black pantyhose right now!

Got these beauties the other day:

....and yes tried them on at DSW. Got off easy I think, all women in the store, including sales staff, but would not have slowed me down otherwise. VERY supportive and made the purchase fun too! Now enjoying them at home

This year, for Thanksgiving, I've had the best turkey ever, I think. My brother-in-law and I cooked one in brine and another deep fried. I don't really care for oven cooked turkey, but trying it a different way made the meat super tender. The brine one came out a bit salty but tender. The deep fried, obviously delicious and juicy. I'm sure not the healthiest but it was great. Pumkin pie is great too, especially the way the family made it, and the Irish Creme infused whipped cream made it a bit more interesting.

With a daisy duke, gotta go with the knee high boots. Otherwise, a longer skirt, just a nice pair of stiletto heels / pumps.
-
Definitely round-er for me. I just recently purchased these and find a combo of both a bit. Just a very nice classic pair.....

4 inches is ideal, not too short not too tall

I can't say a specific number, but over the years starting to notice more. That still being a small number and mostly in the city or the areas of town where that's not a surprise. However, when you're talking Halloween, I was shocked this past one, with how many guys cross dressed at a large party I went to. I of course was fully en-femme as well in 4" heels. A lot of friends there so it makes it easy, those are the most enjoyable times

Confused 45, That sounds like me a few years back. Why? Why? ....Better to just embrace it (heeling) and enjoy. And back to the to the topic 3 4" stiletto pairs (rounded toe, pointy and another kind of a hybrid, all black), 9 West 4" heel knee high boots, 5" platform sandals (1" platform) and some flats. Gone through purges myself, wish I had some back, but at least I gave them off to Goodwill and other places where it's not just thrown out. Regards, MHH

Stilettos for sure! I prefer a nice and comfortable 4" most of the time, with higher at times. MHH

Most definitely for the feminine feeling I love the way I move in heels, the hip sway, the clacking sounds.....

I actually like the excitement of going to a store and picking, and trying on my next pair. I just did that the other day and my favorite store is DSW.

Currently galavanting around in my 4in Ralph Lauren heels

Next game, US vs Slovenia should be telling more telling of US skills, as will the next English game to see who goes how far, I think. Yep, the Germans seem to be in a league of their own. Total dominance over Australia. Hope they play Brazil, Argentina, Italy or any other hot team to emerge, in the eliminations, either of those would be an awesome game. S. Korea seems to be playing well also. MHH

I personally would rather watch football a.k.a. soccer in the U.S. then US football or baseball. Game keeps going and you can expect it to be done in reasonable time. I can't stand the annoying time outs, play reviews, etc....what a waste of time! Plus, I feel that soccer players are far better athletes then US football players. There are no 350 punders playing soccer! Anyway, soccer, hockey, and basketball are fun to watch, the rest are not so much for me.... So, World Cup, on Saturday there's a little game between US and England. I hope the best for the US, but my thinking we'll probably get our arses kicked by the English blokes Any thoughts, predictions??? MHH
To What Occasions Do You Wear What Type Of Heels?

No rules for me one way or another, just follow the mood. Personally, don't really care what people "might say" anymore, but nothing too over the top either. For example, just got back from grocery shopping. Was out in somewhat girly flip flops (really hot in my area today) with my fuchsia toe nails showing. If felt like heels would've done that, but not today......
