  1. hi I think everyone has a different arch. That's why some ppl are flat footed and some aren't. To make mass market shoes, manufacturers probably find it easier to just ignore the arch. I find shoes with higher arches easier to walk in as they give me more support and keep the weight off my toes. The only mass market brand I've found with higher arches so far are Strutt Couture. It is a pricey line, but the shoes all have great arch support.

  2. There are platformed heels that I like and I own a few pairs. I don't prefer platforms over other types of heels and my bf generally dislikes them (but he is refering to the stripper type). They do have to be designed well to look good on the foot/leg though.

  3. I was wondering if lovely pumps was still in operation. I have been stalking their site since I was in college with no money. But now when I do want to invest in some shoes, they appear to be out of business. Do they have a new website? I remember loving the t-straps as well. They also have some beautiful flat loafers with a shorter than normal vamp.

  4. Thanks for the info! I'll consider the ones from Burlesque blue since I prefer platforms that slant inward toward the sole of the shoe instead of the ones that go straight down. The platform shapes from the cheaper shoe manufacturers are more to my taste. It's too bad they can't make them in real leather.

  5. Thanks for the replies. I jsut ordered a pair from Brazilian Orchid. I like the shape of their shoes better. I'll let everyone know how they are when I receive them!

    Excited.

    Oh i got

in faux black croc. 10cm heel.

I'm Considering a pair from Italian Heels as well but I'm not sure how well I can handle a 5 inch heel. I can walk fine in 4 inch heels but my 4.5 inch Nina Ricci shoes make me totter around like a newbie.
