  1. Hi everyone! I've been a member for quite a while although haven't posted in a looooong time. So I guess it's time to make up a bit for not contributing actively. Hope to do so more in the future!

    Name: Bart

    Age: 32

    Gender: male

    Location: Netherlands

    Occupation: Musician

    Height: 1,80m

    Weight: 72kg

    Shoe size: EU 41/42

What's your favourite heel style: stiletto

What's your favourite shoe style: almond/round toe pump, lace-up or ankle boot

Do you wear your heels outside: once in a while...

What is: Your favourite heel height: 11cm

    Your highest heel height: 12cm

How often do you wear: not as often as I'd like to

Do you wear socks, hose, stockings or bare feet with your shoes: yes.

Anything else you wish to add: also a massive lipstick fan!

Because of the region I live in and although travelling a lot for work, with the risk of running into colleagues or other people I know, I don't get around to heeling (or wearing lipstick) as much as I'd like to, but I do thoroughly enjoy visiting shops and trying on heels in my spare time.

  2. Hi everyone,

Whilst going through Ebay yesterday, I stumbled across these boots by Vivienne Westwood:

Well, I seriously like them. Now, is there anyone on this forum (I guess there's quite a big chance there is) who has experience with these boots, or Vivienne Westwood shoes in general? Normally I wear a big women's EU 41 or normal 42, how is the sizing of these?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. Wow, very courageous of you to want to wear those boots over the jeans (especially since you're about my age...). Looks very cool on you, I like the 2nd look best! But, for a first outing with a girl, jeans over boots will be less 'in-your-face', so that might be a good decision indeed. Hope your 'date' will take place soon, and to hear from it afterwards! Good luck (also for your exams) and have fun!

  4. Hi everyone

Got some new shoes today after quite some time. I've been eyeing for these for some time, but they were too expensive for me.

After having tried them on in a shop few weeks ago I figured I should have them, but I should have to wait for them being on sale. Well, when the sales came marching in (ha ha) I went back to the shop, but they sold the only one in my size

Today however, I looked at a site of a different shop, and to my surprise, the same shoes were on sale there too, and for less than in the other shop! So I went to said shop, tried them on once again just to be sure, and bought them.

So, they're from Replay, in a black 'jeans look' and with a 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) heel.

They're very comfortable and I love them :)

    Cheers :)

  5. I mostly doubt about pink heels. Sometimes they don't look good, sometimes they look staggering. However, I now found a pair I really really find awesome. They're by Buffalo. I tried them on in one of their stores and they fit really well, only problem is that they are too expensive for me... Otherwise I would've bought them without any doubt!

Oh yeah, normally I don't like platforms too...

  6. My biggest heel thrill was last sunday :silly: Carnival was going on around here, and I went to watch the parade in a nearby town. The place was very crowded, and I decided to wear very short (home-modified) jeans, net pantyhose and leopard-print stiletto heels. Boy, did I get some attention! Lots of women were jealous of my apparently quite well-shaped legs (didn't know about that lol). And lots of respect for wearing the heels, too. Of course, the day after I regret it as my feet hurt quite a bit. And I had to walk. A lot. Was a very cool experience though, and I'd do it again!

  7. @HeelsGood: Yes, I think it is normal. It has always been that way. Up to the fifties, pants were a no-go area for women. Earrings for men were 'not done' for men until the 90s. And so it has always been. People have always been afraid of things different from what they're used to. And then, some people keep trying one thing different from the norm and other people start thinking: "Hey that's actually pretty cool!" Just look at earrings, and recently decolleté shirts for men (which I think don't look that great), or pink and purple colours. Or those very wide, low-crotch pants for women (hideous, IMO, and fortunately I don't see those very often). Can't blame the crowds, really, however strange it is. But aforementioned changes of course do give some hope for us heel-wearing men. :silly:

  8. roniheels is secretly developing another race car in the shape of flat ballerinas, as according to him, that would be aerodynamically more advanced... This car will be created only to compete against the Stiletto racer, to prove for once and always that flat designs would be better (??)

  9. Great look! Although I usually don't like the look of skirts on men (probably because of the build of most men) you certainly have the figure for it! You pull the look off very well.

  10. If I would go out wearing heels, it would be just in my normal clothing. I don't think other things, like skirts etc., would suit me well. Also, I haven't planned any outing. Any outing I have had as of yet was more or less spontaneously with my gf  If I feel like going out (and have enough guts to do so at that moment), I guess I'll just go :(

  11. Today, I didn't have a particularly good day. One thing enlightened it a bit though: a new pair of boots!

I've seen (and tried on) these a few weeks ago. As they didn't have any panty socks but just a pair of a bit thicker ones, they were quite tight. I thought they're utterly gorgeous though! That's why I had to go back today and try them on with a pair of thin panty socks.

They had only one last pair of those boots left, and fortunately, they were my size! The woman working there (she was also there the first time I saw them) said jokingly that apparently they were meant to be mine. She was very cool and helpful about it, by the way

Now they were better. Still a bit on the tight side, but I guess they'll stretch a little.

Having said that, they are very easy to walk in and give loads of ankle support! And have I already told you that they just look awesome? :(

    Well, here they are!

  12. Thanks for posting this! Although I see more and more of these articles appear, mostly the comments seem to be the same: quite disgusted (and disgusting to me). Most of the more positive comments are made by men that like wearing heels themselves. And also some open-minded women, thankfully.

  13. Thanks for the nice comments :) @Dante: I prefer the less pointy toes also, but these are ok for me, they really fit the style! I'm not yet planning to wear them out, but if I would, I would wear them with my normal clothes. I don't really like the look of skirts on men in general (of course there are exceptions, as shown on this forum too), and I think I don't have the shape to get away with skirts. @Thighbootguy: Unfortunately, she didn't get a pair. She doubted for a pretty long time, and in the end she decided not to take them at the moment. But who knows :)
