The black platform boots with side buckle as well as the pumps (both brand: 1969 are size 43 (although fit a small 44), the rest is size 44.

Not sure whether anyone here remembers a site that closed down a while ago: cuissardes.net. It was a boot wearers collection of photos of his outings in muddy forrests and that was surprisingly interesting to come across.

I bought a few pairs of Gio Hel boots recently and I'm really happy with them. Can't really compare with the A brands but it really doesn't matter - I found a source of high quality, high heeled boots available in large sizes. The fit is great, almost true to size and the materials used seem to be top notch!

Stilettos, no doubt. At least 5 inch

Nothing less than 6" would like good on larger shoe sizes IMO...

I am considering trying a pair of lace up thigh boots. Can anyone offer any advice, experience, recommendations? They seem like they would be more adventurous than the pull on or zipper style but a lace up with a zipper might be a good compromise. Any thoughts?

I thought the same and decided to give in to curiosity. Was a little disappointed - it takes getting used to lacing them up and it's quite a chore. Not to mention that if you use the zipper instead you risk getting part of the laces unhooked. Tricky and I personally didn't see the added "value", so to speak.

I live in the Netherlands though visit Malta for business mostly. No, I don't wear boots in public and I don't imagine I ever will. I'm not aware of what the high heel scene in Malta is like though knowing it's a religious country I'm pretty sure men wearing heels would be frowned upon.

Hi all Here's a quick introduction from a 29-year old guy from Holland. Ever since I can remember I've had a fascination for high heeled boots and it seems I'm not the only one. I own a few pairs and have an understanding girlfriend (which I think is pretty lucky). For me it's mostly boots that get my attention, pumps or sandals much less so (if anything just women wearing them). As for boots, anything goes as long as they have a stiletto heel. Anyway, hello all, glad to have found this place!
