Top Gear is my all time favorite. Indeed the chemistry amongst them is great and hilarious. I just wonder why car producers still let them have the most expensive for their review. Not often the outcome is very favorable. If you have a chance, get Hammond's books, compiled from his columns, hilarious too. But nothing to do with high heels.

Hi Heely1, Here another Dutch fan and wearer. Two nights ago I ventured out for the first time wearing 4" open toe slippers with black stockings. Just downstairs and onto the parking but it was a thrill. Now will try more for sure. Again, welcome.

Yes, that's me a few weeks back in the snow.

To start for my size 43 (NL) it starts with 4" and I find them the most comfortable. With a 5" I feel it quicker in the ankles.

I don't have boots as my preference goes to slingback strappy sandals but it might be an idea to buy a pair so I can make a strat wearing outside. What kind of boots do you advice?

Me the same, only heels with ultra sheer black hold ups with a sandal toe.

Hi, So far I did not have the courage to venture further outside then my garden and the rooftop terrace. I really want to wear outside but maybe my style of shoes make it a bit difficult. Strappy sandals attract more attention then a boot, especially when worn with ultra sheer black stockings under jeans. I guess I must try with like minded people first.

4" or 4 1/2" stilettos with ankle straps so the stockings are visible, and I have a lovely pair of 4" clear slippers.

Hi Bubba and others, Thanks for the welcome. I have been attracted by high heels for ages since I dressed up with a friend while in our teens. His mother had some nice pairs and we used to dress whenever we could. I never looked back since and I have a nice collection of heels and stockings myself. I wear daily at home and wouldn't mind meeting like minded people here and maybe in person too. I live alone so if anyone likes to wear together, they are most welcome, if it works out, that is. I really don't know what is the attraction for me but I just love the view and wearing.
