  1. Thanks for the insights. I understand that most people on this forum won't understand the point of this. She's no fan of wedge trainers (been down that road) and there are times when when fashion dictate that trainers are the shoes of choice. For her part though, she's quite the heel expert, well maybe not when compared to the usual members here  She loves the height and "wiggle" she gets when in heels, and that's what we're trying to emulate. Just to clarify its lateral support that was worrying me. Doesn't seem to bother her though. If I find a solution, I'll be post again. Or if anyone else comes up with a solution, please do let me know.

  2. I recently picked up a pair of heel lifts with the idea that I would drop them into my wife's high top trainers. The problem is that they lift her foot out of the supported heel area. I'm a little worried she might hurt herself. Any ideas on how to reinforce the heel area, to give her more support?

  3. Am I right in assuming that the shoe is a little small as opposed to narrow? That may explain why the guy at Timpson said what he did. Its always a lot more difficult to stretch a shoe to make it longer, and even more so in a high heel because of the angle of entry into the toe box. Having said that, do give the ol hair-dryer a go. I stretched out a pair of my wife's shoes for her with a hair-dryer and wooden spoon. Worked like magic, just don't overdo it, or use too hot a setting. I'd advise against the shoe stretch spray. They're alcohol based and shouldn't work on anything other than leather. Worst case scenario, you could spill some and damage the finish. Let us know how it works out

  4. My wife has totally fallen in love with a pair of pink saddles she's seen in the Echo Falls advert, you know, the ad that plays during Come Dine With Me. I've been looking on line, trying to find something similar to surprise her with for her birthday, but no luck yet. A little help from the experts would really be appreciated. ps. its the pink, mid heeled and ankle strapped.

  5. Hi there! We stumbled upon this forum quite by accident while shopping online, and glad that we did. We're still debating amongst ourselves how much we'd like to divulge about ourselves online, we're both still a little shy. For now we've decided to retain a little anonymity, until we both feel a little more comfortable. We're quite new to Poland, neither of us is Polish. "She's" into heels, and "He" is into her in heels. Thanks for the warm welcome!
