  1. Hi! Long ago I decided to take photos of every single pair of shoes in my collection, but after a while I got bored and never completed the mission. I thought I could share. Some of the shoes are gone, sold to make space to new ones while some I'd never sell for any reason. Some date back to the 80's and 90's, some are brand new. Some are high, extremely high, some low and some flat (which I'm not going to post here). Round 1 - some pumps I love shoes and I love MY shoes :wavey:

  2. I prefer to buy in stores where I can try the shoes, walk in them to make sure they fit well and don't hurt after a few steps, and enjoy chit chatting to the salesgirls who most of the time seem to be happy to help me out. But I also buy quite a lot on ebay when hunting for designer shoes and real bargains. The biggest concern is taking a wrong size, especially when buying shoes in UK or US sizes.

  3. yes I do enjoy wearing them when sitting down but still I find the straps to be too tight for my feet and when I try to stand up they hurt pretty badly. Also the metal heels tend to bend dangerously when trying to walk. Probably I'm not ready yet for such heels and should try first with let's say 5,5". I prefer lower heels anyway!

  4. Hi, few years back I bought some pairs of shoes and sandals with an extreme heel thinking I could eventually manage to walk in them. Well I was wrong... but I like to keep them and maybe one day I could use those shoes for some photoshots or try again to walk. Here are a couple of pictures I took, I hope you don't mind if I share with you. Stef

  5. Well, being English not my native language I'm afraid I won't be able to express myself the way I would love to. I did vote for "more feminine" and it's pretty much what I feel. I began trying on heeled shoes and finding out that I was feeling great in them but soon after I felt the urge to add more and more feminine pieces of wardrobe and accessories to that. So came the pantyhose, the underwear, then the dresses until I "developed" a new version of myself with a definite feminine look. It isn't clear to me yet if I did all this for having a good excuse to wear heels without attracting too many weird stares when going out. Now it's been 3 years since I last wore man's clothes, my daily attire consists of woman's jeans, sweaters, shoes and a very light make-up and I've grown my hair. I try to look as feminine as possible without exceeding (so flat boots or sandals). I don't want to attract too much attention but I need to wear women's clothes and shoes, I just need... So probably even if men wearing heels were worldwide accepted with an open smile, I still wanted to add that extra feminine look, just to feel myself "in balance" and see in the mirror the person that I always wanted to be. I hope I didn't mess up things to much and all this doesn't sound too weird to you guys. Stef

  6. 1. How old have you been, when you got your first heels? I was 13 2. What was the reason (i.e. special event like carneval/ halloween; because you lost a bet; because you felt in love for them) I had tried my mum's shoes and found out that I loved the feeling of wearing heels, after a while my feet were growing and the shoes around the house wouldn't fit anymore. So I needed a pair of my own. 3. Who paid the bill? Myself 4. How much did you spend? We still had the Italian Lira at that time, I paid ITL 19,000 which equal to EUR 10,00. 5. How and where did you buy? (retailer: grabbed and paid or tried them on; mail order company/ online; etc.) I simply went to the closest shoe store after school and had a good look around and chose the pair I liked the most. Came back to the shop the next day and pretended my elder sister asked me to buy the shoes for her. Obviously I didn't tried them on! 6. Were you allowed to wear them at home (i.e. after of that special purpose)? I was wearing the shoes all the time when I was home alone, every afternoon of the week.

  7. Yes....I'm more than happy with my foot size. Reason why: I can buy my shoes in ordinary shops and usually get good deals during sales or when the shops have only 1 pair left (my size) and they want to get rid of it....and when I recognize this is the situation I become a real bitch and push the price down and down. My shoe size is 39-40 depending on the style and it's not quite a common size here in Italy, so 8 out of 10 I find something left and I can bring back home good shoes without spending a fortune. SO.....YES.....I do love my shoe size! Stefy

  8. Hi everybody.... These are just a week old and I was damn lucky to get them at a very reasonable price (30 EUR). They were only used once on the catwalk and now I'm so proud to wear what a model wore just before me. I just had to do some modifications : they had an ankle strap that wasn't that good looking and with the precious help of patience and some tools, I turned them into mules. Hope you like them because I'm really in love with this pair! Enjoy....Stefania

  9. Hello Victorias, No I don't go out in public with my nails painted. The only persons who know I use to polish my nails are 2 of my female friends. They were a bit puzzled in the beginning, unfortunately too many people still tend to associate activities like shaving your legs, wearing heels etc to "being gay" or "becoming gay". After explaination that there's nothing wrong with giving some color to one's life (and nails) they've accepted that but still think I'm a bit crazy. About My wife's reaction, I don't have any... ciao

  10. I enjoy The feeling of walking in much higher heels, I love high heels as most of the people here do. But I also appreciate those very low heels not because are "easy" to walk in or because they may look more comfortable. Wearing kitten heels one almost doesn't feel the height of the heel itself but still feel the foot is balancing on a thin heel. Hard to explain, hope you understand what I mean.

  11. Hi Jay, I agree with you about the fact that kitten heels can be quite slippery to walk in at times, especially when walking pretty fast. Sorry for such a short reply...can't find my english dictionary!!!

  12. I am another of the lucky ones. Most of the times a size 40 euro (9us) for closed shoes fits me well, sometimes I need a 41 (10us). For sandals size 39 or 8us would be the best choice. But all depends on how the shoe is build. So I have no problems finding my shoes in ordinary stores.

  13. thanks heelfan...believe it or not this is the first time I pay so much (110 euros) for a pair of shoes I cannot wear freely everyday...you know, being a man... but I really loved the design and couldn't resist. I know I've spent a lot of money for this but I'm sure they're worth every penny...you can really see and feel the difference between crappy 30 euros or US$ faux leather syntethic sole shoes and these. very comfy too despite the very pointed toes. ciao...Steph
