  1. My first pair were a pair of black leather and suede DKNY 4" heels from the outlet store in bicester village. I still have them I think they must have cost me £30ish. I remember the cashier saying to me "you know these are a US10" I got back to the car and was so excited I had to take them out of the box and try them on there and then. Unfortunatly I had another hour and a half drive back to London before I could really try them out.

  2. Big D,

I also work in the design industry and to a degree understand what you are saying.

Personally I'm into styles and colours which can go in and out of fashion, i think i would get bored of the same pair of shoes all the time.

I do love Louboutins though for their sheer classic beauty, somehow they are so well crafted and have that subtle detailing which makes them so attractive. Would I spend a weeks wages on a pair though? No. The other reason I wouldn't spend so much on a pair of shoes is that as a man who enjoys wearing heels for at most an hour I wouldn't get the benefit of them.

So given £400 I would rather buy 8 pairs of fashion heels than 1 pair of designer.

    Possibly my next purchase

  3. Hi Guys and Gals I'm a mid thirties male living in London I've loved stockings and tights for years, probably since the age of 11 or 12 when I remember trying on a pair of my mums blue tights - (well it was the 80's) I've been hooked every since. However it's much more recently that I've got into heels, my first pair were from a designer outlet store and were very cheap for the brand. This must have been about 8 years ago now. I still have quite a modest collection of 3 pairs after I recently had a purge. I really enjoy fashionable and colourful heels and hose my fave being a pair of patent red platforms from faith. Looking forward to exchanging stories with you guys MH
