bootloving, my advise is don't get stuck just looking for a "heeled women". heeled women are awesome but what if that girl in flats is really cute, nice, confident and everything else? would you let her go? just meet some girl, try to know her, make a connection and if she comes over a beatyfull pair of heels Way Much Better!

hi Elswyth, there are mixed opinions regarding sandals and stockings. i love strappy sandals 4in and up and i prefer no stockings but if they make you feel confident, then use stockings. please no toe reinforcement and no dark colors either. from my point of view the shoe makes the feet looks better as well as the feet makes the shoe looks better too, so i would not hide feet and toes behind dark stockings. just negotiate, improve leg look while showing the toes.

They are nothing special. Just some cheap ones from Ross, the brand is "Joey O " I think? I also probably need s size up. But I do LOVE wearing them and especially with stockings. But yeah there is no going back. I just want more!

many of us will agree, there is no going back. it is a one way road...

one tip that served to me as a beginner: when trying new shoes be sure the whole sole of your foot rests on the shoe. perhaps you've seen pictures where only the ball and the heel of the foot rest on the shoe allowing for an air gap between the insole and the center part of the foot sole. this is bad and cause pain. try the heels for a while if you can, as you won't notice if they make you hurt in just two minutes.

hi stiletto5, i don't own the shoes you mention, but after giving a closer look to these platforms i realized that i would love to have them both... i've experimented with similar types of insoles and i found the "Delight type" a little bit pleasant as it accommodates the arch of my feet better and helps to distribute the weight more evenly between the heel and the ball which is cool if you want to be standing for a while. i would reccomend you to try both models if you can just to be sure which one fits better and looks better too. beyond my previous arguments, i prefer the Kiss as the type of heel is way sexier. let us know your impression after the purchase.

i found the Kiss heel sexier and lighter but i also prefer the feel of the Delight double sloped insole (on top of the heel) over the slightly curved Kiss insole. if i have to choose then i go for the Kiss.

being a rock star is a shortcut to get whatever you want in this world. i would like to be one for a while just for fun. rock stars wear high heels and they're cool, common guys wear high heels and they're freaks most of the times, this is the world we live...

what an interesting thread it became! i remember when i was 16 yo i used to have very long hair reaching half of my back. it wasn't the fashion style of that age and so many people used to put their criticisms on me very often. that was my look just because i liked. sometimes it was hard to start a talk with a girl or be welcome to a party because i was rejected by my look but i never give up to others opinions even when i had to work harder for what i wanted. taking a look back i realize there is not difference between having long hair in the 80's and wearing high heels today. long hair was supposed to be a women's look in those days and after the years no one have a complain. question is: should i worry for wearing high heels today? fact is people has a big lack of tolerance and acceptance to others. we fight for a piece of land, some money or just the way of thinking... we shouldn't wait for the acceptance of others in any aspect of our lives or we won't live our lives. if so you won't buy the car you like, marry to the woman you love, chose the career you want and of course you won't wear those beautiful high heels you have. Peace and love for us all!

next year im doing a 10 mile charity walk in 6'' stiletto heels and a 1.75'' platform. i just hope they are hard wearing and comfortable. im thinking on wearing pleaser kiss 209 sandals

i have a pair of sandals like these (not by pleaser). they are very nice to walk and provide great ankle support. i haven't worn they that distance but i guess the cushion pad in the please's will help a lot...

it is not easy to find stores that accept international credit cards or ship overseas as well. i hope you find a way to get them even at a higher price, they're worth the money...

from time to time i apply some body deodorant on my feet before using my high heels. i use the same non staining body deodorant for women i use under my armpits. i love women shoes smelling women's perfume...

i'm 6'1" in bare feet. i'm almost 6'5" in my 6" platforms

thanks Mtnsofheels, i agree with you and Dawn HH, it's such a feeling! it is definitively an adiction for us all as i could see digging in the forums. i would love to manage high heels passion as a normal thing in a daily basis and wear them out just as another piece of my outfit without any additional concern. as you mention in your post, i know a few specialized tango dancing shoes stores for both men and women. These high heels are beautiful and look great in street tango dancers (there are plenty in Buenos Aires traditional districts). i really admire dancing girls moving in complete control over +4in heels. unfortunately the biggest women shoes size you can get in a regular store is 40 (US 10). i am size 12 1/2 and it's hard for me find women shoes. i buy my high heels in a crossdressing store.

black shoes are cool and have a great attitude. i like pewter or light blue too. i think color shoes looks lighter on my feet and gives a more casual look. Also calls for the girl inside...

Hello everyone at HHP, I'm a 38 yo man living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I found this site days ago and I decided to become a member immediately. I love women in stockings and high heels since ever. Strap sandals and thong heels are at the top of my list. When I was a kid I tried my mom's 4in mules a few times, I really enjoyed the feeling and from that moment nothing was the same. I always have a pair of stockings on my drawer I use as often as I can (just like now while writing). A month ago I decided to buy my first pair of high heels, a clasic model of 6in platform sandals in black. The feeling was so intense that I had no words to express myself. Since past week I added a pair of 4in strappy sandals to my wardrobe which I use everyday at home. I like to dress like a man while adding the touch of the high heels. I think as soon as I could walk with confidence and style I will go out in long-leg jeans and 5in stilettos. I'm still looking for places in Argentina to hang out and share my new passion for wearing heels. Best wishes.
