  1. Great picture! Only thing is, I'm puzzled about the colour of the shoes in the picture. White 6" Spikes told us they were 'Sherbet'. Maybe that sent me on the wrong track, but when I lick fizzy sherbet off the sticky lollipop of my sherbet dab, its an orangey-yellow and I thought the shoes in the picture would therefore by an orangey-yellow. Huh? .... Pon? ....... HUH? Is American sherbet black, Huh? ......HUH? Cheers, Heelfan

  2. Wasn't there a press story re some fuss between Sven (the football man) and Ulrica where she divulged that Sven was into high heels and had some of his own (or have I got that wrong?)?. I missed the main incident, but seem to remember a later press snippet to that effect. Can anyone fill us in properly? Cheers, Heelsfan.

  3. Yes, sadly Bristol has suffered from the closure of Ravel and one or two other similar shops. I am very sorry to have to say it, but I think they are being squeezed on the one hand by the changing public demand in recent times for shops doing oceans and oceans of cheap trainers, and on the other hand, competition from the Hypermarkets-selling-millions-of-cheaply-produced-shoes like Brantano. Quality is being driven out by (cheap) quantity! Can't we interest you in attending the group's next Heelmeet at Oxord on 12th July 2003 for a fun shopping, chatting, eating and pubbling day. (Much nearer for you than Peterborough!). Cheers, Heelfan

  4. Yes, I understand your enthusiasm to meet girls. I (and I am sure others) are very much of a like mind - please note that in my postings to rustle-up interest in the 12th July 2003 Oxford Meet, I've been adding that Girls are MOST welcome, so I continue to hope that you (and we hope, some girls) will turn up. However, if you wish to keep it intimate and one-to-one with any forthcoming girl in Bristol, best of luck and I hope it proves really successful! Regards from a cheerful Heelfan.!

  5. Yes! I'm Bristol area. However, probably not too keen on a heel-wearing meet right here on my own doorstep, because although I've been street-heeling amongst the anonymous public (London etc.) for donkeys' years, I still haven't 'come out' to my own family, friends and business associates, and wish to avoid being 'spotted' locally!. This is why I'm looking forward to the Oxford meet (my very first, and not TOO far away) on Sat 12th July. Firefox, Xaphod, YamYam (possibly) and myself are already on for it - how about joining us? It promises to be a great fun-day out and also be a good opportunity to discuss future possibilities (maybe closer to home?). Cheers, Heelfan.

  6. Meeting Time and Place - Firefox says: 10am outside OXFORD UNIVERSITY SHOP, 106 HIGH STREET, OXFORD. He invites anyone lost or late to telephone 07941 172043. In addition to a fun day's shopping etc., he hopes that some/all of us can stay on into the evening for a meal and drinks. All welcome (Guys AND Gals). Looking forward to my first meet and to meeting all who attend! Cheers, Heelfan.

  7. SUMMER 2003 MEETING. To try to consolidate all recent fairly ineffective suggestions (Meadowhall up North,Birmingham in the W. Midlands and Bristol/Swindon in the S. West), instead I suggested the solution of going more UK-central to OXFORD ON SATURDAY 12th JULY. Firefox approves of this and can make it! So can I! There's a start, and we hope the central location will help boost attendance (all guys and girls hugely welcome, in heels or not!). Let's make it a really good one! - please post your responses here. Cheers, Heelsfan
