  1. I'm also in this situation, as you said, i had a lot of high heels in a smaller size and wearing them very often, made me a lot of corns and blisters. My husband enjoy my feet and always he is ready to massage my toes after one day of wearing such shoes. I cannot say that i have a real high heel foot shape but my toes are curled with corns on top which make my walk very painful.

  2. Hi Amy I read that almost all your shoes are smaller than your regular size. Are you in pain wearing these shoes and your feet change the normal shape? I'm asking this because i also have a lot of high heels, with pointy toes which are one size smaller, even i have one pair two size smaller. I get these shoes for different reasons, present, nice model, last pair, etc. Wearing often these heels caused me corns, at the beginning it wasn't so disturbing, i thought that they will dissapear on time, but after some years my corns became bigger and bigger and very painful. Now, i have severe pain on my toes, doesn't matter which pair i wore. My feet still don't have the triangular shape or bunions which is a good thing but i don't know what will be in the future. Anyway, i'm glad to see that i'm not alone in this situation. Have a nice day luiza

  3. Thanks for your replies. I see that i'm the only one which accept to deal with pain for looking good. Unfortunately, i have many shoes in a smaller size and finances today are not so good to buy other shoes, so, i have no choice and i must wear them.

  4. Almost half of my shoes are a bit smaller than my size. After one full working day, all of them are hard to remove, specially the pointy ones. My feet are squeezed into these shoes, corns are very painful and when i take them off, i have to be careful and to work very slowly, otherwise i have a very hard pain on my toes. Generally, it take about 10 second for each shoe. Do you have other advices how to take them off without so big pain?

  5. Dear Sharon My true size is 37, but i have many pairs 36, and even one pair 35. Of course that i have 37 also, which are the most comfortable. I wear smaller shoes when thy fit my clothes, all the day at the office or outside. I like tight shoes, and i hate to see high heels with a gap at heels, I hope not to develop bunions, with corns i still manage the pain even if sometimes i'm near to cry. Bye luiza

  6. Dear Sharon You are not alone suffering for beauty. I'm more or less, in the same situation like you, but i don't have bunions. My biggest problem is with corns and my shoes. Many of them are in a smaller size which made my corns aching very much. But i continue to wear them because they are very nice and trendy, even if i saw, day by day that my corns became bigger and more painful. This is the price that we have to pay for being in fashion. Luiza

  7. Don't worry, as long as they are pointy it's normal. Your feet swell, that,s why you feel that shoes are too small. At round shoes your toes are not squized as in pointy shoes. If you will practice and not think at this minor pain, you will enjoy your shoes. I'm doing in this way and i was able to wear even two sizes smaller shoes w/o somebody seeing my pain on my face.

  8. I never buy shoes in a bigger size or width. All my shoes are very tight, many pairs one size smaller, i even have one pair two size smaller. I hate my shoes to be loose, to look like flip-flops. I noticed that mens are more sensitive when they are looking at feet which are squized in small size shoes that in shoes wider or one size bigger.

  9. Amina If iam in your place, i will never do a surgeon operation for toes. I will follow my love for high heels and pointy toes and i will suffer in quiet for my passion. If you make the operation and you will be not able to wear point high heels you will be emotional affected. In this case i think that it worth to take the pain and to look good and to be sattisfied in your soul. Mental and psihical wellness is more important that some pain and blisters and corns. But this depends very much of your capability to deal with the shoes pain.

  10. Yes, my heels helped me in my career. I,m working in sales and, from my experience, when you are nice dressed and you wear high heels , almost half of the business is done before customer find details. Specially if they are mens. But this come with a price, wearing daily 10cm high heels, pointy toes and sometimes smaller size than usually wear, i developed corns on my toes which sometimes are very painful. During the years i learned how not to show my pain to my customers even if i was in agony. That,s why i can wear a lot of unconfortable shoes w/o somebody to imagine about my corns and blisters. Everything is coming with a price, my price paid for my career is corns, blisters, curled toes. What did you think? It worth?

  11. Hi Sharon. I,m glad to see that i'm not the only one with such problems. Unfortunately, i'm a slave of high heels and i learned how to deal with my daily pain. Most of time i wear high heels with pointy toes, usually i can walk a lot with them despite my corns but now i really have a problem. My husband gave me as a present one pair of black Report Lustra shoes. There are the most beautiful shoes from my collection but, in the same time the most painful pair. My usually size is 7 but many of my shoes are 6 even 5 1/2, so my husband, to make me a surprise, checked one pair and unfortunately it was a small 5 1/2 pair. That why he bought me these shoes in a 5 1/2 size. I couldn't resist and i wear them todat at the office. It was difficult to get in but finally i did it, there are gorgeous, very feminine and till now i recieved a lot of compliments. Now my problem starts, leather is not so soft, and my toes are crammed into the narrow toe box right on the corns area which give me a hard pain. Looking at the shoes, i can see the bumps of my corns, but they are so beautiful...so i said to myself "no pain, no gain". The bad news is that i don't use to have spare shoes and after the office i have to go in the city to meet some friends, so, i have to walk a lot. Did you faced with similar situation and what you are doing in such cases? My plan is tommorow to wear them again at the office to strech them, even if they kill me. Otherwise they will keep them in my closet and i will not wear them. I love them too much to close them.

  12. I also have painful corns on the small toes, 4th and now on the second. I know from where there are, i wear a lot high heels, 4-4.5", pointy toes, many times smaller than my size because i could't find my number and i was in love with them. I remember few years ago, i went shopping wearing a beautiful new pair of red stilletto one and a half size smaller which killed my feet. I had terrible blisters at heel and my toes were all red with my corns in agony. But i managed the situation and nobody knew about my pain. My love to these stilletto was so big that next day i wore them again at the office. My husband said that i love my shoes more than my feet but he understand me and he make me many compliments about how nice and sexy shoes i wear. Now i still wore high heels but my corns are bigger and more painful but i will not give up with my shoes. I don't want to hear anything about doctors, so the only solution is to wear them and not thinking how painful there are. How you manage the pain of corns or blisters? Please don't say that i have to change the shoes! Luiza

  13. You are not alone. i developed corns on my toes due to my love for pointy, stilletos which sometimes i bought one size smaller and wear them a lot (they were so pretty and even they didn't have my number i decided to suffer for the beauty). I couldn't rezist and, even if they made me blisters at the beginning , i wore them saying that soon they will break in. But they didn't and they made me corns. At the beginning only at pinkie toes, later at 4th and now at second toe. Now, they hurt like hell but i'm used with this pain and, for being elegant and to receive so many compliments, i wore them despite my corns. And if i'm in love again with a new fancy pair of highheels and unfortunately is not my number, i will not hezitate and go down with one size. Beauty is pain!

  14. I,m a size 7 high heel wearer with more than 30 pairs in my closet. Do you face with such situation? If you like very much one pair of shoes (nice colour and fashionable) and they don't have your number, but they have one numer smaller do you buy them knowing that they will kill your feet? I did may times this and now, if i count well, almost half of my shoes are smaller than my size 7. If i'm in love with a certain pair of shoes, that one have to be mine, doesn't matter the fit. And i wear that pair till i see another one. Just i feel very great when people admire my 4 or 5" heels, i forgot any pain caused by them. Most of them are pointy toes with 4 or 5', which developed me painful corns but, as i told you, when i receive compliments i forgot all about the pain. In my case i prefer fashion not comfort. How about you?
