Worth a shot. Thanks

(Indoors only, for now) I would wear heels more often if there was something... non-pointy available in my size. As it is, though, all that's available in my size is the semi-pointed-toe platforms from Pleaser. Wedges in particular (which I have tried in vain to find) drop off the face of the planet at size 10 or 11, and I'm a size 15. I hope to remedy this, though. I'll let you guys know more about my plans in this regard once I've had time to develop them in a bit more detail. (It will involve starting a small business, so if anyone's interested in joining up on this, PM me...)

(Wow, this account's still valid.) I would love to have wedge boots like those. Tis a shame that wedge heels in general tend to drop off the face of the earth past US-10 or 11... ... You know what, the heck with that. I'm going to see if there are any companies in China or wherever that'll make boots like that in relatively small quantities (and relatively big sizes). Anyone with me on this?

That I do. I hope you've been more successful in your heelings than I have...

I hope so, too. And, personally, I hope they get (back) up to 15 and 16, too.

I've found that even in my dreams, I can't find any heels in my size. Comfort food, please.

(still confused)

Unfortunately I have very large feet -- USMen13, Women 15 -- making it nigh-impossible to get any heels in my size, to say nothing of the kind I'd prefer.
-
Well, running clumsily in heels would almost definitely draw a lot more attention than simply walking normally in heels. That's for sure. Still, you went outside in em, so kudos on that

Very descriptive, Slim.

Yeah, they are, but I said I was gonna modify them if I got them, didn't I? Turn the pic about 35 degrees clockwise and you'll get a general idea of what I'm aiming for. (except, I'd saw through quite a bit of the sole and make it an almost-non-platformed wedge heel.) Anyways, thanks for your input everyone

Ok, firstly, this is my first post here! Yay! (and there was much rejoicing...)
Now on to the point of this post.
Being a rather tall guy (6'2") and having large feet (US men 12), it is near impossible for me to find any high heels in my size that aren't:
a) too feminine to look good on me
too noisy (wooden soles)
c) too platformed, or...
d) too flat to be worth buying
In particular, what I'm looking for is calf-high or ankle-high boots with:
a) chunky or wedge heel (since stilettos or blades would probably not look good on me due to my size)
1 inch platform or less (preferably none at all)
c) 3 to 4 inches of heel (Any less with my size feet feels insignificant, but any more, and I'd be humongous.)
d) rubber soles
e) rounded or square toe
I've searched almost every English-language site on the Web that has heels in my size, and have been unable to find anything even remotely approaching this, aside from the Spunk boots on this page, which I could probably (with difficulty) modify. But that's about all I've found.
Please help if you can!
How Tall Are You Without Heels - Take II

6'3" or 6'4", it's been a while since I've really bothered to measure for certain.
This makes it a bit harder for some people to process my (sadly rare) heel-wearing... I've actually noticed a more flummoxed reaction from women than from men, which is the opposite of what I would have expected.
The reaction from flummoxed people usually goes something like this:
"...but you're ALREADY tall! You don't need heels!"
