  1. Here is a real woman's opinion on heels.

I'm a real girl, as real as they get, and my finace wears heels. He looks damn good in them, and he walks in them better than I do.

And I love him just the same, if not more so because of it.

Heels are something you put on your feet. They are not something that changes the person you are inside. If you're an ass without heels, you'll be an ass in heels, to put it blankly. If you're heterosexual without heels, wearing them will most certianly not make you homosexual. I have a high number of gay friends, and an even higher number of gay family members, and her comment about how it's only normal if you're openly gay made me see red. So I could only be 'normal' wearing workboots and jeans if I were openly lesbian?

Men in heels are fine. Most men I know look good in heels! All the men on this site look good in heels! I know we can't hope for free and open acceptance, but come on, it's about time society learned not to snicker and point.

So to answer your question, not only would I date a man in heels, I'll marry one!

  2. Oh for heaven's sake. When are other women (and some men) going to grow up and realize that what you wear does not determine your gender? Wearing a skirt does not make you feminine, any more than wearing denim jeans and sneakers makes me masculine. I know people who are transvestites, and I know people who are transgendered, so trust me when I say that clothes DO NOT make the man. People who write articles like this irritate me so much. You never see a man writing an article on how women shouldn't wear blazers, or suits, or leather jackets, or any other article of clothing that's been generally defined as 'masculine'. It's ridiculous. Clothes are clothes are clothes. We wear them because we like them, because they keep us warm, because they keep us cool, and because they keep us from getting arrested for indecent exposure. The one thing we don't wear them for is to be criticized for our choices in wearing them.

  3. Just my humble opinion, but I think that more men need to at least try a pair of heels. My finace wears heels on quite a regular basis, and if I may say so, he looks extremely good in them. It's wonderful to be able to go shoe shopping with someone who loves and appreciates a pair of nice shoes or boots as much as I do! He wore heels long before we ever started dating, and it's something he's never hidden from me, even when we were just friends. From what he's told me, many men are nervous to tell their significant others that they wear or like heels. As I've told him many times, 'High heels are just something you love to wear. It doesn't define who you are.' It's simply a fashion, and I think every man needs to experience an outing in a nice pair of high heels at least once in his life. Men in heels are great!

  4. Hello there! I'm just a small town girl in my mid-20's from Western Newfoundland with a huge love for heels! I'm so glad to find a site that I can post and discuss with other lovers of heels. I'm slightly ashamed to say that before I met my fiance, I owned three pairs of shoes; but since then I've grown to love and appreciate a nice pair of heels all the more, particularly when he wears them. I'm looking forward to many posts and interesting discussions!
