  1. Micha, I feel most confortable wearing my heels (platforms mostly) :D out & about all the time as well in the house! I am PROUD to wear the style that I love and I dont have the time to worry (or to keep count if you will) of everyone who looks @ my choice of footwear as I'm, walking along minding my own affairs nor do I care what they may be thinking as I pass them (or them me) I am learning that life is just way too short to really care what strangers think of me in my boots. thanks, Brad

  2. well, micha I'm one year right behind you and my brother is your age (actually him & I are one year, 3 days apart) so he'll be your age (50) and I'll be 49!! I always get taken for MUCH younger too (like around 25-30, no kidding) :D yours, Brad

  3. well, I find that just about 5 inch heels (on my wedge platform boots) is as high enough for me to wear  and still maintain good balance on walking.I dont wear my blade heel boots by nine west walking down the several sets of steep hills (I dont drive nor own a car) but will if I can get a lift DOWN the hills! :D ) but they are very comfortable to wear no matter where I'm in them. btw, Micha, I wanted to know if you own any blade heel boots yourself and if so, do you like them too? thanks, Brad

  4. I fully agree with you jamie, I just decide what I like to wear, and when it comes to buying footwear I go out of my way to AVOID the "mens" side of the store!! most people don't say anything to me, a few do look @ me and the rest if they ASK me the same kide of question I'll answer like you do (if they saying stupid or rude things I ofcourse ignore them all together) I feel as you do and many others in here that it IS a matter of having the guts to wear what they want you can bet a lot DO secretly wish they could wear them but do'nt ever want others to KNOW that they would like to WEAR heels!!! :D

  5. I'm happy you got to try them micha!!! :D its always good to know one's limits-that walking on 6 inch heels is yours! buts its so darn funny when I see the reactions of other around me sometimes when "only" walking on my 5 inch wedge platforms :D yours, Brad

  6. no offence to firefox & the other brits  but that WAS a senario seen more then a FEW times back in the late 1770s on the east coast of the USA known the world over SINCE those times I might add :D (the calvery didnt have to worry about high heels on THOSE boots btw) oh yes red coats indeed!!! (and just when you thought your musket was ready to fire too) yours, Brad

  7. I'm what you could call "the little guy" in this room (only 5-7) amd I really don't need to worry about foot size 'cause I have a small foot (for a man) @ size 7 (which is womens 9) :D so I NEVER have to wonder too much about what size shoe or boots I might want to try on in most cases. in boots, Brad

  8. I am always wondering when I see heel types for men & for women that the men NEVER seem to get past a certain height in heels whereas they (the heels) for WOMEN seem to change all the time! I cannot for the life of me figure this out :x its almost like there some hidden line that must not be crossed for the higher heels for men, as if it would really matter in the long run. this gender label stuff is really rediculous, heck, I've even seen hiking type boots that would have been "MENS" style @ one time, but now they are in the WOMENS section, go figure  all I can say about this is that it is strange to my thinking (to say the least) yours, Brad
  9. hi there!!!! I saw 2 different women customers go in & out of the supermarket where I work yesterday (RALPHS) one had black high heel pumps with about I'd say 4 inch heels & then the other one (A little later) had black high heel knee boots with the same type heels (as far as I could see that is) little did THEY know that I have heeled boots too! :D (which I'm wearing @ the present) they are from NINE WEST btw. yours, Brad

  10. thats why I love thigh boots because of the period of when they were worn by MEN, :D if you look @ the old 16 & 17th century footwear of men youll notice that they were in fact HIGH HEEL!! (boots & shoes alike) I agree with all on this board here-how in the heck did it all change from MASCULIN to FEMININE in heeled wear!!?? yours, Brad

  11. I fully agree SH, I love your quote BTW!!! my only pair of thigh boots (with low heels though) looks best this way and I'll be damned if I care what ANY one thinks! I feel that I don't have to answer to anyone but myself and because none is a mind reader I feel that those that DO vocalize their thoughts have NO class whatsoever :x (like when these kids feel some immature need to yell things out of cars, they only show the world the way they are brought up!) yours, Brad

  12. to answer your query micha, yes I do a lot! (but these are actually low heel , kind of flat but they are nice thigh boots that I got from jammin leather (www.leathercat.com) located here in south carolina (I live in southern CA myself) I ordered them online and they did (@ one time that is) carry some very nice high heel black white & red I think thigh boots, the different colors of that kind of style of boot & I used worry about the "public" not now life is way too short for that nonsense!! yours, Brad

  13. hi there! I love to wear my heeled thigh boots with levis tucked into them! I wonder how many like that style as well? (it all depends on the cut & style of boot in HOW you can wear them! ) that any style above the knee looks BEST in this kind of fashion, to show off the beautiful shape & style of it self for all to see! (I think that knee boots look best UNDER the pants.) in boots, Brad
  14. hi there francis! this is brad (had to reregister to get a new name) I LOVE the heels & leather pants!! you are like me-we both love our leather & heels! always yours, Brad (in boots)
