  1. It's hard for some people, you just have to jump in and do it. I walk into the store and ask the sales people for the shoe in my size. I tell them that I am a crossdresser, and I would like to try them on. I have been asked to walk in them to prove they are for me, I have had sales people wisper to their collegues " They're for the guy" over and over again. I figure my money will spend anywhere, and I can shop where I please. Overall, I have been treated with respect, not ridiculed or embarassed by the clerks.

  2. Being a crossdresser, and participating in some of these adventures with different groups, let me add this. Allowing this group there and being recieved as well as they were, this group will return and spend more money with that establishment. most hetero crossdressers are just looking for a "safe" place to go dressed and not be ogled or ridiculed. Not all out crossdressers have a "thick enough skin" to mingle in the general public and handle any and all comments directed their way.

  3. Anita, Your view of Dallas is right on the mark. I lived there for a while, and it was a crossdressers dream come true. I have not found a place where otherwise that when dressed in heels and skirts or dresses that you don't stand out. As a fan of high heels and big hair, Dallas rules!!

  4. My wife and I just returned from a TG gathering in the ozark mountains. I spent the whole 3 days enfemme and was out and about quite a bit in 3 and 4 inch heels. the streets in this town are very hilly, up and down no matter what direction. I got alot of comments from genetic women about " How in the world do you walk in those heels on these streets?" Practice and patience pay off every time!!!
