  1. Personally, I like to think I'm good at what I do. Whatever I wear, I get the job done to everyone's satisfaction. Having said that, I also think the way I dress and behave gets me noticed just a bit more. This bit more may have given me chances to show how good I really am. Chances I might not have got if I didn't get noticed. The way I dress makes me feel good and gives me confidence, which I believe radiates from me. I think this is what people pick up on in the first place and what gets me noticed and why people want to work with me. Not so much my skirts, high heels or the bit extra cleavage. I also know, from experience, that some women at some companies will never get the chance they deserve, no matter what they wear. The glass ceiling, it still exists. Some guys apparently still have trouble with women being as good or better. So, have my high heels helped my career? I think so, in a way. Maybe not just my high heels, but they are part of the whole package.

  2. I had to vote no, because I don't feel I'm physically stuck. I really love wearing high heels and I do so as much and high as I can. But I also love to workout, swim and go to the beach. OK, the workout is not love, but more a necessity :). And in the summers I like to hang out in the garden, play with the dogs and stuff which are all better in sneakers, flats or even bare feet. But I'm definitely stuck in a mental sense. I can't live without them and there's almost no day that I do not wear them at least part of the day. But I don't take showers in them :) as that sounds just impractical and unhygienic. Although the idea turns me on; weird, right? There's something about only being able to walk in 5" or higher that just turns me on. Part of it of course has to do with our BDSM play and doing it for 'Him' is part of the thrill. Although that still does not explain for me what it is that turns me on and why... so if anyone has some ideas, please.... :)

  3. I wear both, but mostly pumps. Dpends on the whole outfit. Usually about 4", but 3" at least. Only on very few occasions I've worn 5" to work. Most of them are classic models (or are they called courts or court pumps?), as I like them most.

  4. I voted for stiletto pumps, although they were not strictly stilleto's. The heel was narrow, definitely not chunky, so closest the stiletto's. The height was about 8cm what would convert to just over 3". They were rather simple black leather courts, and I 'borrowed' them from my moms closet. They made me feel great and I remember walking or dancing was surpricingly easy. I think I was a bit late catching on to pumps and high heels. They just weren't worn to school somehow, only to dances & parties after or outside of school. At some point pumps & stilleto's were worn more and more to these parties and only after a while I decided I had to fit in and picked a pair from my mom. I still think she doesn't know I did :). Oh, and we don't really have proms in NL, but we had plenty of dances and gala nights.

  5. Platforms to me feel a bit like cheating :). I love the way high heels arche my feet. I would need even higher heels when wearing platforms to get the same feeling. Don't know why really, but I just prefer the feeling and looks of non-platforms. I do have one pair of platforms, but they're of the porn-chick or pole-dancer type (2" platform & 7" heel) and have only wear them a few times in the house. Mind you, I do like the look of platforms on other women, but it's just not for me :). I might actually try one of those hidden platform kind of shoes soon :).

  6. I voted for 5". I wear 3" - 4" daily to work. The actual height depends on the shoe that fits my outfit, although I usually pick 4" if I have a choice. I wear my 5" around the house, to movies, theatre & clubs and to some parties. I can manage quite well depending on the model and quality of the shoes. And I'm still getting better all the time. I do own some 5.5" and a pair of 6" but still need training in those :).
