Shoesizes are very variuos!
Normaly I wear EU 43 (= UK 9 = US F 12 = US M 10, like the most sizecharts!).
In my closet I´ve some EU 42-44, UK 8-10 and US F 11-13
All my shoes fit nearly perfect (some are a little bit to small or to big, but they fit!), and I don´t know which size would fit from the next brand!?
Normaly I order one, and if it not fits, I´d send it back (mostly without any problems!).
The best choice is, buying in a shop near home. I could try it on, before buy them.
I´ve done this way many times, no problems.

Hello jagman, I´m wearing hh since about 20years, and i would say: exercise, exercise and exercise!
A few years ago, I had broken my right ankle , and now I´m able to wear shoes with max. 4,5"-heel (10,5-11cm) . Before I had this accident, I could wear 5,5"-heels (~14cm) without any problems.

I think it's worth telling people you know, because like I say, it gives you a lot more freedom. Every time I tell someone, or they find out, I feel a huge amount of relief and I immediately become more comfortable with wearing heels around them...
So, micha, I'd definitely say it's worth telling them, or better still showing them - that's how I did it with most people!
I think, it´s easy to say that, but it´s more difficult to do that!
I`ve a GF since 7 years, and she doesn´t know my preference to wear heels. And I still haven´t found a possibility to tell her.
Next week we´ll spend our hollyday together, and I´ll try to tell her about my "special likeing"

I believe, that 3.5 to 4.5 inches are the best heel heights for men. Still easy to walk on, having the feeling to walk on heels and making you not too big.
I don't like postings like "Heels below 4'' are no real heels!"
I agree with this statements. I prefer knee- and ankle-boots with 2 3/4" - 4" heels.
Sometimes i wear them outdoors (at night

I was very nervous about the noise of heels , but nobody was noticed it!
One older lady had a look on my shoes , but no comment follows!!

Hello Sabine, I had my first experience with hh at 12 (I think, it´s round about 25 years ago). My mother had many hh in their closet, and I was playing with my sister. We had a masquerade and she said: "Put on these Skirt and shoes." I put on the skirt and the shoes. It makes me feel great!
After that experience, I would prefer to wear hh without wearing a skirt, because I`m a man.
Since this time, I like to wear heels!

Hi to all, first i have to thank you all, who answered me. When i found this board, i was very excited! I´m not alone!
Meantime I visited the websites of Hiluc, Micha and Joak. It was very interesting to see, which experiences you made, about wearing female shoes.
I wrote, that i´m interested in wearing heels in- and outdoors, but i never did it outdoor before. I´m too shy
Last week, after i read your messages, i´ve done it at first time!
At 9pm, i put on my 4" ankle-boots, and went to a cigarette machine (about 500m). It was very exciting, but i was very nervous about the heelnoise. I was glad, that nobody were on street, who could hear my heels.
I will do it again and i hope somedays i have the courage, to do it in public at days.
