They are size 8. The previous owner said she had them custom made but they came too late for a photo shoot so she hasn't worn them. My wife currently can wear around 5.5 without a platform, though I wouldn't want her to walk in these.

Is that Size 8 US ?  I guess that makes them a Size 6 UK which is the same size my wife wears.

My wife too has worn shoes with 5.5" heels without platforms but only around the house, but she could walk in them ok.

Like you, I also pushed the limits by buying her some Stiletto Boots with 6.25" Heels.  She tried them on but could barley stand up in them as her feet were incredibly arched & beyond vertical.

I've never bought her any Ballet Heels like your attached photo though, but again I would expect they would be for 'posing in' only :-)

I just picked these up for the wife on poshmark. Haven't told her yet and not sure how to breach the subject. She knows I have a huge heel fetish but we've never done anything this extreme. Thoughts to make her more comfortable with it?

Unusual style of Ballet Heels, what size are they?

What height of heel is your wife currently used to wearing?

  3. As an experiment, I bought two pairs of identical Heels from Debenhams, one pair in Size 5UK & one pair in Size 8UK.

Both pairs had approx 5 inch heels with no platforms, the Size 5 pair were slightly under 5 inches high but the Size 8 pair were exactly 5 inches.

They also had quite curved arches on the shoes which exaggerated the heel heights further.

However, it was clear to see that the angle of the foot was much steeper on the size 5 shoes, as worn by my wife, & her feet were almost vertical & in line with her legs, but the Size 8 shoes were nowhere near as steep.

The Size 8 shoes needed the heels to be elevated to around 5 3/4 inches to gain the same effect when worn.

So I guess this concludes that not all manufacturers adjust the heel heights for each size to give the same High Heel feel & effect regardless of size.

The ladies with very small feet like size 3UK must find that even moderatly high heels on the shelves of the shoe shop in size 5 or 6, are considerably steeper in their petite small sizes.

That said, I'm sure that most people on here agree that a small foot in very high heels looks exquisite.

    Hi

well I think its to do with angles if you have a heel 5 inches high but the lenght of foot is say 10 inches then that foot would say look ok

If you had the same heel height and a foot only 8 inches long then the angle would make the heel look better although they are the same height

If you get what i mean

  4. Very nice pair of shoes. I have to think they provide a much more streamlined appearance with your wife's LBD. So much better than so-called 'hidden' platform heels.

How has your wife been walking in them?

    Hi,

She can walk fairly well in these heels given the height that they are, & that there is no platform on them to soften the arch. Most of her other shoes with 5 inch heels have a 1cm to 2cm platform on them, so those only equate to a 4.5 inch rise.

These strappy heels from Debenhams are the highest she has ever worn on a night out, & her feet are almost vertical in them, but the straps hold her feet in them very well & they look absolutely fantastic on her.

There is nothing more sexy than seeing her walk in these stunning heels.

  5. I bought my wife a pair of very high Black Satin Strappy High Heels from Debenhams as per my link below, & posted my own review on the Debenhams website.

I don't know if anyone here has seen these, but they have almost 5 inch heels with no platform, & look amazing on in a UK size 5.

They also sell them in Red Satin, & they have 5 reviews on the site between them.

    Any comments anyone?

  6. Hi there,

I have no idea if this is the right forum for me, but I am a straight guy who just loves women in heels, I find then irresistibly sexy, I don't like to wear them myself, nor do I have a foot fetish, I just love seeing women in heels ***EDIT***.

Have I landed in the right place?

    Dan

You sure have landed in the right place Dan, I am the same & am lucky enough to have a lovely wife who wears very high heels too.

Email me any time if you want to chat.

    Cheers,

    Neil

  7. I find wearing 4 inch heels totally comfortable and wear them to work most days. I can wear 5 inch for nights out and have occasionally worn 6 inch which are a real test as I only have size 3 (UK) feet.

    Melanie xx

Hi Melanie, I am from England too.

Do the 5 & 6 inch heels you have worn have platforms on them, or are they true 5 & 6 inch heels where you experience the full heel height?

My wife has size 6 UK feet & can wear 4 inch heels all day, & has a couple of pairs of 5 inch heels without platforms. She can walk ok in them but not for long distances.

With you wearing 5 inch heels in a size 3 UK you must find them really high if they have no platforms.

  8. For all you UK viewers, did you see Claudia Winkleman in tonights Strictly - It Takes Two? She was wearing the most sexy strappy 5 inch + heels without platforms, & her feet looked amazing in them & were on show for a lot of the program. At the end of the show she went walkabout around the studio, & even commented that she was wearing very high shoes & it would take her a while to get around. This show is worth watching every night as she always has some amazing shoes on. Neil

  9. I think you have done enough for now, as she must know you are keen to see her in sexy high heels by buying her the pair you did. I must admit thats how I first really showed my wife of my interest in heels, she would quite happily wear 3.5 to 4 inch heels even to work, when one day we were out shopping & saw a really sexy pair of heels in Dolcis nearly 5 inches high without platform. She picked them up & commented on how high they were & put them back on the shelf (much to my disappointment) but I just knew I had to get them & present them to her at some point. So later that day I went back to the shop alone & bought them, & decided to give them to her as a Christmas present which was only a couple of weeks away. On Christmas morning she opened them up & was really quite surprised that I had bought some very high heels for her, but she could see I was elated as she tried them on & walked so sexily around the room in them. To this day now, she still wears 4 to 5 inch heels in public, & wears 5.5 to 6 inch heels for those special times at home. She even points out other women wearing sexy heels on the TV or out & about, as she knows I am still as keen as I always was. Good Luck to you.

  10. Hey, hi everyone, sorry about the delay in posting

Firstly, Elite Heels are very good to deal with Neil. I had to wait a while, but I was warned of this when ordering (the product pages say how quickly things will be dispatched) plus both pairs I got were custom made.

I got the gold shoes quite soon after ordering. They were lush, although I didn't like the ankle straps on them so cut them off carefully. You can't tell they were on. My feet are completely vertical in them, and they feel a lot steeper than any of my other 6" heels. They look stunning though and with a bit of practice I think I will be able to wear on a night out.

The platforms only arrived the other day and I have only worn them once. They're massive, I think I under estimated the difference in height between 8 and 12". Maybe it's because I wear 8" heels so much that it has become second nature.

My head touches lights in my bedroom, and I have to walk through doors carefully because if I am in a middle of a stride it feels like I am gonna hit the door frame, and I'm only a shortie at 5'3"!!

I am still walking *very* carefully in them. I have to make sure my foot touches the floor completely upright otherwise I will wobble and fall off them! They're like walking on stilts!

So yeah, very happy with both purchases. The 12" platforms are ridiculous but they're so much fun. The gold heels are hella sexy and I think (hope) I am gonna get a lot of use out of them.

I have bought one more wacky pair of shoes, Karo 0257s, and then I think I am going to return to 5 and 6" heels as my favourite pair of shoes are still my Louboutins.

    Thanks everyone.

    Hi Roz,

Great to hear you are pleased with your new shoes, especially interested in the Gold 6" Heels you got, you must look fantastic in them if you feet are completely vertical in them, that is the sexiest look by far.

I would love to get a pair of these for my wife, though I doubt she would be able to wear them outdoors at this height, but then who cares if she wears them for me indoors.

Do you have any pics yet of you wearing them so we can get a good idea of how they look being worn?

  11. Hi JayZee,

It was at a wedding, been in the daytime my flash was not needed making my photo taking easy and very desecrate.

    MM

Weddings are always great places for high heel spotting, usually with all the ladies turned out in their finest & highest heels.

The photo img361 is the best one here, nice heels & nice legs to show them off.

I bet she was a very good looking woman too, am I right?

Don't worry about the poor slingback...I have another pair which I will NOT be abusing lol.

    Hi Susan,

Just seen your video's you posted & I especially like the two showing your Moda in Pelle Boots, they look fantastic.

The heels look very high on these boots & I am sure I have seen them in a shop in York quite recently & my wife loved them but they were quite expensive.

Please can you advise how high the heels are on these, & what size of shoes & boots do you wear?

Would love to see some more video's of you in these maybe showing you standing & walking in them?

Would like to communicate with you anytime on this fascinating subject.

    Best Wishes

    Neil

  13. Hello from South East (and snowy) England

I'm 40 something and adore high heels but due to having a hip replacement 2 years ago can only really wear them indoors... Hubby loves seeing me wear them and is reading the forum over my shoulder...

    Hi,

What are the highest heels you have & what shoe size are you?

Would love to hear more about you.

    Best Wishes

  14. I've been a little quiet on here recently... new relationship has been taking up my time and energy, but the good news is that he appreciates me wearing nice heels ;)

Some members will remember me going on fanatically about a pair of Louboutin boots before Xmas. I bought the considerably cheaper version from Aldo, which are in a beautiful soft leather:

My Betty Page shoes from Burlesque Blue. I love dressing up in my vintage style 6 strap suspender corselette and FF stockings with these. Just need to get a long black wig and some Betty bangs and I'll be set :cool1::

    (003)

Also from Burlesque Blue. I wore these to Tescos and felt that they were just a little too high for me and I felt that I was walking a little strangely, but according to the new bloke, they made me have a great ass wiggle

    (004) (005)

Sorry the pics aren't any better, they were self portraits on my camera phone.

New bloke has a digital SLR though, which could make for interesting material B)

    Hi,

The Betty Page type shoes look a lot steeper & higher than than the ones in your 004 & 005 pictures.

What is the heel height of these shoes & what size do you wear in UK Sizes?

I am thinking of buying some shoes from Burlesque Blue for my wife so I would be keen to know your opinion of them.

    Best Wishes

  15. Thanks, I think they look lush. I think I will be OK to stand and walk in them, I am comfortable walking in even ballet heels so hopefully I will be OK. Thanks for the reply ;)

    Hi Roz,

I was thinking of buying those shoes also for my wife but in Black, so I will be keen to hear what you think of them & how Elite Heels are to deal with.

Do you know what the heel height is as they look at least 6 inches high?

Would you really wear them out on the town for a night out, I think my wife could just about walk in them but not for a night out?

  16. I also find it amazing how some women with small feet can manage too walk in such very high shoes,i think they are just amazing!

What size would you consider to be small in UK Sizes?

I once went out with a girl who wore size 3 UK shoes, & as she was quite short she always wore very high heels, which in her petite size appeared even higher than any on display in the shoe shop.

It was definitly her heels that attracted me to her in the first instance, she was wearing over 4.5 inch heels with very steep arches on them making her foot appear vertical & perfect extentions to her legs,

  17. Hi Neil

It's wonderful your wife can walk in such high shoes. When does she wear hear 5.5” & 6” Heels? Can she walk far in them (few can) and how easy/hard does she find it?

Love to hear more about her heel wearing.

    Cheers

    Fred

    Hi Fred,

My wife has worn 4 to 4.5 inch heels for years & wears them to go out in & even sometimes to go shopping in.

It is only in the last few months I persuaded her to try some 5.5 inch heeled boots & some 5.75 inch heeled shoes, & she managed very well in them, but only at home indoors for the moment.

If you post me your email address, I can give you more details of our journey so far.
