  1. Last night with family away, i decided to have some retail therapy, so first off to New Look in the Trafford Centre and bought these.

The sales assistant was very talkative and ask if they were for myself, if so they would look good on me. In all the years of buying shoes no body has ever asked if they were for myself, good work New Look, will use you again. post-3747-0-73178000-1424295194_thumb.jppost-3747-0-56250200-1424295215_thumb.jppost-3747-0-42091000-1424295228_thumb.jp :giggle:

  2. Today i chose these XTI footwear shoe boots to do some running around in, with a platform of 1/2 inch 1.5 cm and a 3.5 inch, 9 cm heel, that has been worn down to the nail this sounds nice walking on the pavement, it is now time for a visit to the repair shop. A very comfortable shoe to wear Nobody noticed the heels, no funny looks or comments and to drive in as well.

  4. For some time, i have had my eye on these boots, my wife has not worn them for a couple of years, so i have taken them on a test drive on a number of occasions, and today took some photos. Calf length, around 2.5 inch cuban heel, looks good with jeans or knee length skirt,  :winkiss: To days outing was to a diy store, charity shop and park, and local mall, nobody noticed them at all !

  5. I have always bought my heels from stores, when i started heeling i bought from Freeman Hardy & Willis, this would be about 1979-1980 when i was 16 years old, they did a lot of burgundy stiletto heels uk size 7. Today i buy from charity shops when i can, and my favourite brand is Faith, that is because of the metal heel tips. I have also bought from Deichmann shoes, Tommy Balls (when they were still going) & one or two pairs from Peacocks. Todays shoe size is between a large 8 & 9.

  6. It was the same here, wearing mum's shoes a black pair of 3 inch stiletto heel strappy sandels from Bally. This would be around 1974-75, i don;t remember why but i asked her if i could wear them, the answer was yes but only in the house! that was summer time. In 1980 i started work and earning my own money i started to buy from Freeman Hardy & Willis. at this time most of the heels from them were round shaped metal tipped stiletto's & burgendy coloured they were around £15.00, i think & the shop assistants did not even bother in them days. I did buy quite a few pairs at that time. when it was my 21st one of my female cousins were wearing the exact style from Freeman Hardy & Willis, as i had hidden away. in years to date my then girlfriend now my wife was told by my mother about the heel wearing, and the girlfriend had me over at her house when her parents were out and had sorted out a pair of kitten heels for me to wear! That would be in the early 90s. We have not been there since. It would be nice to do that again,:irked:

  7. Thank you all for your opinions, and they are welcome. I do some times go to the local park for a walk, or a small local town wearing heels and no one has ever said a word even when the plastic heel tips have well and truley worn down and all thats left is the little heel pin, dont get me wrong, i like heels and wearing them, some times i might be adventurous and wear heels from home and go for a 2 - 3 mile walk, other times just stay at home and wear heels for 61/2 hours aday. But i thought i would find out what others thought! Also as i have a injury to my shoulder and have been off work, thats why i do not like to be seen in a busy area!

  8. Hello Guys,

Where do you find your safe area to wear your heels out & about.

Today after my IT course, I took the car over to my wife's place of work ( Trafford Park) Manchester, so i could get some exercise walking home. I had decided to take a pair of heels out for a walk, also we had walked the route i took home about 2 weeks earlyer, so i knew what the paths were going to be like. these are the heels i chosepost-18537-133522941315_thumb.jpg.

They are a Barratts shoe uk size 8, the name in side them is KV8, these are in blue, I bought them from a charity shop about 2 months ago price £2.00. They had plastic heel tips that sounded like metal, but i changed them to metal, they sound great click, clacking out there.

My walk took me along the canal towpath, a mix of grass and stone, some parts the old cobble stones, post-18537-133522941341_thumb.jpg

    [ATTACH]12628[/ATTACH

The walk took around 45 minuets and around 1.5 miles, only saw 1 runner & 3 canal boats, the last canal boat had 5 females, aged around 55-60.

Thats my sort of walk in heels these days.

  9. ilikekicks, that was a very interesting trip out in heels:smile:. How did you feel at the end of the night? What was your friends reaction to the days events? and will she take another trip with you? Congratulations again, this should help others with their thoughts of heeling outside.
  10. Maninheels & Redpot, thank you for your comments. It is good to be out in heels, but when the heels you are in start click- clacking to that exstent you have to find a replacement and quick. The white ones are comfortable to wear and seem to beable to take the pace in resoect to the sturdy heel tips. Also the only 1's in a uk size 8.

  11. Part 2, In to 4 charity shops & only one item of intrest, they are by George at Asda, size 8, heel hight 3.75 inches.post-18537-133522937037_thumb.jpg post-18537-133522937059_thumb.jpg post-18537-133522937081_thumb.jpg I walked around sale with the heels clacking as there was a lot of people around the town centre again only one person gave me a strange look, who cares i thought. My next shop to visit was Peacocks, click clacking on their tiled floor was fun, here's what i bought post-18537-133522937094_thumb.jpg Made by E-vie, 33/4 inch heel & size 8. Time to make a move back home, so find a place to put the white oxfords on. Managed that with out any hassel, brown boots off & white oxfords on. Again very comfortable and walked the 21/2 miles back to Stretford. No problems at all of passers by even a police officer took no notice, he let on but that was it. The school party was further down the tow path but i was able to bypass them with out going close by. 1 hour later im back home & my balls of both feet starting to hurt, time to unload and look what i have got today.:silly:

  12. Last night whilist i was in bed I decided I would go out for a walk on Thursday. I walked my son to school around 8.30 and got home around 9.45, I found the clothes that i was going out in and my footwear for the trip. They are a pair of Knee boots by Atmosphere size 8 that i got from a chairty shop on Tuesday post-18537-133522936984_thumb.jpg post-18537-133522937002_thumb.jpg post-18537-133522937019_thumb.jpg They fit well and with only having a 2.75 inch heel teey are comfortable, I put on a pair of tights from my wife's draw, a black pair of jeans and the boots, t shirt and coat and set of from my house in Stretford to go to Sale 21/2 miles down the canal tow path. Before i had got to the canal tow path I had lost one of the plastic heel tips. The tow paths have just been resurfaced so it was only minuets before the other heel tip was clicking away. Along the way i passed walkers, cyclists, runners, and no one even stopped, looked or took any notice of me. I even spoke to some people that passed by and still no one bothered me. By the time i got to Sale the heels were well ant truly click clacking and as i was at yhe exit point for Sale Town Centre I noticed there were a group or people standing by the canal in Hi-Vis jackets, as i got to them it was a schools field trip. I think the taechers may have seen the boots i was wearing if not heard them. I got passed them and went straight to the charity shops looking for more heels in a size 8. I would really like a pair of Faith's pointed toe metal tipped stiletto heels with metal tips on the toes boots or court shoes. 21/2 miles walked and just the nail pins on showing on my boots. Time for shopping!!!!:silly:

  13. Thank you Confused, it's nice to have positive comments from the other half. My wife of 11 years & girl friend for 11 years before we got married, found out from my mother one night early in our relationship, that i wore female shoes. When i was at her parents house one weekend when they were away, my girlfriend took me to her room ang said i want to see what you look like in these, she gave me a pair of kitten heeled slingback shoes size 7, they fitted, then she went one step further and got a dress out and started undressing me. she did get the dress on me and said it looked better on me than her. that was a nice feeling in the early days. Since then she has bought a bra for the bedroom and the odd time chucked some panties towards me for bedroom use, but no footwear. I will have to ask her about that next time, even though i have my own stash of footwear, she does not know about them.

  14. I voted for comfort. having heels from 3.5-4.5". I find ankle boots to be the best, and that's for the support the give. My favourite pair of heels are from Faith they are ankle boots with 3.5" metal tip stiletto heel, they get heads turning when i'm out & about

  15. I have 3 pairs of boots :2 ankle with stiletto heels & metal tipped, 1 pair blade heeled these have 2 metal pins showing through & 1 pait of mary janes with stiletto heels & metal tips. They all sound great when i'm out heeling , i don't care what others think & as far as i can remember, i have had no comments

  16. At the moment i have plenty of time for heels! As i am off work with shoulder injury :(, had plenty of time for heels in the past 5 weeks & 7 weeks to go , so more heel time fo me. I have cut my collection down to just 2 pairs of ankle boots, 1 pair calf length boots & 1 pair mary janes. I have also been out for some walks in heels and yesterday spent 3 hours in the calf boots, the boots were a bit muddy by the end. Today is the mary janes turn for wearing so 6 hours in them.
