I would also buy one size up when buying Pleaser shoes. If we're talking cheap shoes you can find online, I prefer Ellie to Pleaser though.

Platforms don't seem to be very popular around here. I do have about 25-30 pairs of platforms though, ranging up to 8 inches, mostly in the 6 inch heel with a 2 inch platform range.

While I do have some Pleasers, I definitely prefer Ellie to Pleaser. They just seem to fit me better for some reason.

I have several pairs of shoes and boots ranging from 2 to 4 inch platforms and regularly wear them. Obviously there are some places they're not exactly appropriate (I'm not going to wear knee high boots with a 4 inch platform to a job), but they are fun and I like wearing them out.

I think where I am is pretty good. Not too tall but not too short.

How does your height compare to your partner?

He's 6ft 3in so even when I wear my stripper shoes he's an inch taller than me.

I've never been a fan. I think they look weird and not very sexy. I bought a pair just to have one and I have only wore them a couple times.

Any platforms I've ever bought the heel height indicates the actual length of the heel, not the size of the arch. So you might see a 6 inch heel with a 2 inch platform, that means the actual heel is 6 inches, but the arch is only 4 inches.

Said 6 inches but it's really somewhere between 5 and 6. I will wear 6's for a night out or anywhere where I won't have to do much walking. 5's are pretty much the limit for everyday use.

I will admit I wear and love platforms, all the way from low to extremely high 8 inch "stripper" platforms. Obviously there is a time and place for everything, but super tall platform sandals or boots can look great with the right outfit. I'm also a big fan of platform wedges.
