  1. I'm a bit of a Latex person...

Latex socks and stockings look and feel great for an hour or so. Then your foot slides down in them, and they become like a vice around your toes that can't be loosened without removing them because of the vacuum.

It's a great thought, but not practical, if that's your goal.

  2. Yes, just absolutely yes!

While I do bendy dress at times, I also mix in Latex as well. The key to wearing anything "out of the norm" is to be clean cut, well put together, and most of all: confident!

In my opinion, shaving body hair from legs, feet, back, and chest are simply required for making typically feminine clothes look good, not just to me, but to those around me. I consider it a duty to break down barriers and stereotypes, and I think this is one of the best ways to do it: making it look good!

    Thanks for the post!

  3. I wholeheartedly agree that we will likely not dress our way out of the recession, but oh, wouldn't it be fun if there were a direct link between the economy and everyone's heel height... EVERYONE's civic duty would be to wear the highest heels they can, including men! EUREKA! (completely tongue in cheek here)

  4. I agree that they are alright, but I would suggest checking Zappos for about anything made by clarks. They only go up to about 2.5 or 3 inches, but are well made, comfortable, and discrete. Zappos has awesome service, free returns, and it's easy to search by size. Good luck!

  5. Oooh! One Jealous person here... But seriously, are they as comfortable as I've heard they are? I would think with that with the AIR sole they would be exceptional... but never found my size in a store, and never wanted to drop the cash to order them. Please let me know... if they are awesome I may have to ask Santa! Thanks, Ryan

  6. Many excellent things have been posted on this topic. I will say that when I met the woman that is now my wife, I was very open with her about all of my kinks. I showed her different things, some she liked a bit, some she tolerated, and some that she absolutely hated. We just celebrated our third anniversary, and we will be sorting through 'my' closet this weekend. We came to a mutual decision that the things that she hates (overly feminine heels among them) are going to cause a schism in our relationship if something does not change. She has worked on both tolerance and acceptance of several different things, and we agree that there is likely little progress to be made in these areas.

I can say that the relevant area here, me wearing heels, has finally started to progress very nicely! On our anniversary, we needed to get some batteries so we went to Target. I have told her countless times that I wanted to go to a store, try on some heels that I like in the store, and buy them! I hadn't had this thought upon entering the store, but we took a stroll through the shoe section (she's a shoe fiend as well) and I saw a pair that weren't overly feminine that i liked. I asked her if I could try them on, and the rest is history!

I suppose it's time I bring this rambling to an end, but to close, a few key points that I failed to make clearly: 1. Be open and up front. Do not hide it until after you are married thinking that the marriage will keep you together. This is not only exceptionally selfish and dishonest, but a very good way to either become divorced, or live a miserable existence. 2. Be patient! If you two were meant to be together, you would either give up your heels for her, she would become tolerant, or you would come to a compromise! 3. Is a twist on #1.... TALK ABOUT IT!!!! While I am sad to be loosing some of my kinks, I am very happy that the ones that are staying, are finally able to progress again!

PS Here are the shoes I got at Target... http://milo.com/merona-black-miyo-stretch-heel-11 (Somewhat hard to find I guess! I'm just that lucky!)

  7. trevor IS a very lucky man, and so am I! While being I was being an usher at a friend's wedding, my wife decided to use the opportunity to dress to the nines! It is, unfortunately, something she doesn't do often, but when she does, WOW! She wore a fairly short flowy black dress with a small silver jewel piece right under the bust, shiny black tights, and Jessica Simpson Rachella booties in pewter patent. She had her hair and makeup done just right, and EVERYBODY was talking to her about her outfit! Not for the first time, I had numerous guys coming up to me and complimenting her. Even the groom, who's bride is quite gorgeous, made a comment, and I told him to keep his eyes on the lady in white, as the one in black is mine! Thank you for sharing your story trevor, I hope someone can enjoy mine as well.

  8. I'd love to join you all in Canton, but that's about a 500 mile trip. I have been hit a bit by the economy (terminated, then found another job, but doesn't pay as well and has crappy bennies) so my extra funds pretty much don't exist at the moment. I did post an inquiry in the 'meets' section to see if anyone wanted to meet in central Illinois though. Thank you all for your hospitality!

  9. Hello, I'm a (fairly) new member from Central Illinois. As it seems with many of you, I am a guy who both like's women in heels and like wearing heels himself. I am unsure of where my motivations lie, but I think it is primarily in simply wanting to better express myself. If there were no stigma in a man in heels, I still wouldn't wear them daily... They would just become an integrated part of my wardrobe along with my sneakers and my normal dress shoes. I have a similar philosophy on other women's clothes, especially skirts, but as this is the place for heels, I'll keep it shoe related :). Take care and have a good week all!
