Spotted in Boston, Mass, yesterday Apr. 28. Near the main courthouse/govt. buildings. Fellow heeling - black boots, gray pants. A good look. Very subtle, but the trained eye noticed. Anybody want to claim it?

If you tuck, you have to wear a fairly tight pant or else they poof just below the knee and that looks pretty foolish. Ladies rocking the skinny jeans & boots look have it right as the boot/jean line is not poofy.

Lenny Kravitz, rockin the wedge boots and leather pants. What do you think everybody? I voted looks hot, but apparently I am in the People Magazine minority.

Ahh, but was this lady headed for work or some social function? My vote's for the latter. No one denies or refutes that thigh high boots can look tasteful if properly paired with a stylish outfit----but NOT in the workplace, unless it's Frederick's of Hollywood.

Actually out and about at a farmer's market. Mid afternoon on a Saturday. They weren't the super stiletto fetish style. A little more weight to the heel. Looked great.

I saw a gal today wearing a great pair of thigh high boots and she looked great - not trashy. She had black boots with black leggings, a tunic top, great light color jacket and a scarf. I think the key to pull it off is to have a lot going on on top and have the bottom be monochromatic.

I just watched this race. It was AMAZING you should have seen these gals go!! The winner was going faster than I could run in sneakers. crazy.

Over the last couple of weeks DWTS had Erin and Cheryl in some similar looking thighhighs. They looked great and probably pretty comfortable with a modest heel. Did anyone recognize those?

So, personally, I really like the riding boot look and I wonder when it became uncool. I mean, if it is good enough for George Washington AND Obi Wan Kenobi to wear a low heeled boots on the outside, it must be good enough for us, right? I think we can blame it on goose stepping germans and russians in WWII and the cold war. I have a great pair of brown riding boots but I wear them under pants.
