  1. i saw a freestyler comming out of the post office in hockcliffe bedfordshire yesterday 24/6. short skirt hose and black heels if that was you i think you looked great. i would have said hello but i was stuck in the passing traffic !!

  2. radiodave, sorry to here how it turned out but well done for being honest We are who we are and shouldn't be ashamed of it. If a woman or anyone judges you by the shoes you wear, they are the ones with issues.

  3. danielp6406 thats why i thought i had better take the pick from the back :chuckle: ive only been out once wearing these and i wore a long sports/polo shirt, trouble is i got a bit too many looks, so i think i will keep these for indoor use and stick to black leggings or skinny jeans for going out.

  4. Those look sooo nasty, cheap and uncomfortable. It looks like they cost at least an entire .50p to manufacture at most.... the markup is pathetic for something so un-appealing.

Even regular mens shoes are more attractive than that, and would be a lot more comfortable and durable.

each to there own !! :)

  5. i voted man, my normal wear is jeans and boots but that said the jeans are sometimes womens skinny jeans with my boots over the top. but then sometimes its leggings so now i am confused !!! so to sum up i am a man and i dont try to be a woman i dont do skirts because they just dont look right on me.

  6. well i wear boots and dress how i like for me,not to piss anyone off or provoke a reaction. if somebody doesnt like it thats their problem not mine. i am a straight guy who wears shoes, boots and clothes i feel comfortable in. i am sure most guys on here are the same

  7. Now that i'm in my 40's i have bought so many pair of shoes

only to feel ashamed and throw them away in a week or two.

hi are you still in this cycle of buy wear throw away? because that would be expensive.

you have nothing to be ashamed of there is nothing wrong with being yourself as we have all said before YOU ARE DOING NOTHING WRONG

i take it you work so you earn money if that is the case why not spend a little bit on something that makes you happy. if it wasnt shoes i am sure you would find something else to spend it on.

    i hope this helps

    all the best

  8. Hi

I've been reading this thread for a while before i could post on here myself. I read some of these posts and sit here in ore you guys must have nerves and other things of steel. It was after reading things on here that made me think about getting some boots i could wear out one day. So the friday i was off work i left my alarm on to get up at 5:20am ( grown  ) with the plan of buying some from our local 24hr ASDA. So just before 6am i go in head upstairs to the shoes and Dam theres people milling about ( might try 4am next time! ) so i kinda walk past the knee high boots i like at high speed trying to clock where the size/colour i want is. After doing this a few times i go for it and i cant find my size Then my nerve goes :silly: . One more try i think so i head over once more i still cant find my size .But worse yes yet to come.......................

I turn around and see the two store guards that normally stand by the doors have come up to the first floor to see what this guy/nutter/all round strange person is up to (to be honest i can see how i might have looked strange or like i was trying to steal ) I just wanted to die :winkiss: i went the same colour as the bright red jacket with the company i work fors name on wished them both a "Good morning" and pretty much ran out of the store. I think if there was ever a guide of "How not to shop for heels " that would be in there. I hope i posted this in the right place but needless to say i wont be buying any heels from a shop near here never mind trying them on for along time. I hope i made sence there its been along day......

dont let one bad experience put you off,if you want to buy a pair of boots you do that

you probably brought more attention to yourself walking up and down etc than if you had just walked up had a look got what you wanted and walked away.

believe it or not it would be easier when the shop is busy.

in asda or tesco when they are busy people are too wrapped up in their own shopping to notice.

ive been into both wearing skinny jeans and overknee boots and nobody batted an eyelid.

the trick is be confident and remember you are doing nothing wrong

    better luck next time
